i have the motor from a nightshade with the aluminum pole plug that i kinda wanna sell. idk if there is any interest in it or not but if there is i can snap some pics real quick. i have the 18" basket and the original cone/coil/spider assembly if anybody wants those, even tho i dont think they can be reused, since the basket is missing a chunk out of it...a recone kit with a basket is 160 shipped. if ur interested let me know, so i will post pics. also, i taped the hole where the coil sits as soon as i took it apart, so nothing got down there.

alright, so i currently have an 18" nightshade that im getting reconed...i kinda wanna go with a 15 instead to shed some wait off of my car...its slow as shit as it is lol, so im wanting to go a bit smaller. how much output would i lose if i went to a 15. as long as the box is still just as good it shouldn't be a noticable difference right? any help would be great guys. thanx.

alright, so somehow the basket on my ns just broke like a 3" long peice off, only thing that is holding it on is the surround that is stuck to it. i googled how to do a recone and found this. [How To] Build or recone a speaker - Realm of Excursion

i used a search on here and didnt find anything so i figured i would post this up for peoples information. if this is against the rules then by all means delete it. im not sure how that works. hope this helps somebody as much as its going to help me.

Alright, so im working on a design for a new box for my NS 18. i am running a saz1500d on stock alternator and soon to be (hopefully) a new xs power battery(probably d5100) im gonna do it right at 5 cubes tuned to 35hz, so it will still be good for daily, and get me a little more spl for when i compete. so since i plan on competing as much as possible i was wondering how much port area to have. ik everybody says 12-16 but i was wondering if i should go more or less or just stick within that range. ik there are some people on here that are really smart when it comes to this subject so thanx in advance. also, is 35hz a good tuning for daily and a little bit of competing or should i go higher, i dont listen to much that peaks really low normally in the 35-40hz range.
