Damn man. Hope they get that gerbil out!!! All jokes aside, best of luck man. I couldn't fathom being told I needed to be anally violated again because they didn't go deep enough before. J

Gotta take a trip back down for some deeper drilling. Balloon assisted anal roaming after I spend some time on a steroid to reduce butthole inflamation. ;-*

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Thanks Sean. It actually went great. Out of the 5 professors we did this for, 3 of them (all female) told me directly (and not the other two) "You are a natural at this. You are so confident and comfortable. It's great." They also praised our celebrity testimonials that I procured. Apparently nobody had done that before. The only male professor there shouted out 'cut and paste!!' and when I asked what he meant, he suggested I imposed a voice over. I quickly informed him of what I had done and why. He seemed impressed. Time for the final, and to do some tidy up shit before Wednesday. Graduation in a little over a week. J

  10. Social media is full of morons. Best knowledge base is here. We can't tell you what driver to get, that's a choice you'll have to make. We can help with what brands to stay away from, and keeping you realistic in your goals. Wanting a huge mega power beast knocking the block down with only 2 cubes doesn't add up. But, using a good quality driver that is optimized for that amount of space can give great results. There are many 12 inch drivers on the market that would work quite well with 2 cubes, but that's net after displacements, not gross. You may need to go taller on the enclosure, as well why I asked about the external aero port idea. The DC audio lvl 5 12 for example, available through the SSA store is rated for 3000 watts and suggests a minimum 1.5 cubic feet enclosure for example. https://store.soundsolutionsaudio.com/dc-audio-level-5-12-3-5-m5-3000w-subwoofer/ I have no experience with this specific driver though, so can't comment on it specifically, but 90% is install, so enclosure design is going to be a huge factor.

Damn! So jelly. I was trying to write jazz when I left elementary. Then they gave me a rusty saxophone and probably why I hated Jazz again until finding this forum. And mushrooms.

  21. Hey new here. So i own a skar 1500.1d. Have it hooked up to a sundown sa10, and works great. One "issue" ive ran into is when i turn the bass knob halfway up it gets loud (obviously). But anywhere past that it doesnt seem to get any louder or gain any volume. Im confused as to why it does that. I have tuned everything with the SMD-DD1 properly so im confused atm. I had a thought that it might be because i tuned it at 0db but im playing -7.5db music. But technically speaking there shouldn't be a "cutoff" point in volume. Any feedback would be helpful.
  22. Reason I said nightshade is because sundown recommends 2.5 cubes for the 12 and 1.5 for the 10. I figured these speakers would work well in smaller enclosures, could be wrong. I agree more air is ideal to feed the beast, but I was hoping to find something that is designed for what I'm looking to do. I also saw the sp4 recommendations start at 1.8. Granted that's the low end but still. You guys know of some good Facebook groups or something that is more up to date? This place kind of feels like Myspace.
  23. I can make more room available but I was hoping not to. The box could be bigger but it would have to be taller. I could also switch the setup around to taking up the 60% seat section which would equate to like 3.5-4 cubes of room taking up most of the rear section. I can get some measurements if there are folks on here willing to give me box advice. I really wanted to have most of my backseat available while getting the strongest speaker available in there. Here's a link for an example. My rear section is smaller though the truck in the video is a crew cab. I was hoping to keep it more contained if possible like amps mounted behind and under the seat.

For any of ya who happen to see this before tomorrow at 1130 EST, I'll be making my capstone presentation, and I'm hoping it goes really well. Feel free to toss up a novena for me if that's your style. I've presented on no notice to 4 star Generals before and never had a problem. Unfortunately one of my group members is so worried the shit now has me stressed the hell out. J

I always enjoy that too. That being said, minus when I was in uniform I wouldn't take them up on it. Speaking there of, I'll have the pleasure of flying with them through Detroit and Atlanta later this month. J
  27. I do not have a manual for the head unit
  28. Are you sure you have room for a vented enclosure? I don't think any of the drivers listed will play very well in 2 cubes vented, hell, I wouldn't run them sealed there either.
