I talked to one of the "reps" at a competition and he said he would email me about SSA carrying them but I have not heard anything from them yet.

Just by looks alone, they appear to be cheesy Chinese knockoffs.

All of them but the Vulcan might be crap knockoffs, the Vulcan is the only one I've heard of anyone using. The other lines look in photos and in person (I did see one of the Thunders at a show) like cheesy products. Maybe they are okay, I don't know, but price, look, and feel make me think they aren't nearly as good as the Vulcan amps.

from my understanding the civic is stock alt , stock under hood battery

i would only be guessing to answer your ? about it doing rated power

but on the part were your asking how it has been , he has consistanly been hitting 145 on the TL

not sure were his voltage is

but he claims they give full power on 13 volts

i am not comfortable paying $2000 for any brazilian amp

so it is a no for me

i would prefer

T40001BD

or Atomic 5000 or 7000

or sound stream 6500 or 10,000

or 2 x 3000 sundowns

or 5750.1 d RD

i would work with anything above before brazil

i sold guns for 10 years Taurus from brazil garbage

I have a D1 that would work...

I'm more concerned with an expensive, off shore, unstable amp.

No, but the manufacturers are here. Kicker amps, made overseas, but if you need work done on it, you sent it to Oklahoma. JL amps, made overseas, but you send it to Florida for repair. Audison amps, made overseas, BUT you send it to Italy for repair Genesis amps, made overseas, but you send it to England for repair. Get my point?

And even if these things are the best thing since toiler paper, I could never use them as they are just hideous. There comes a point when aesthetics have to be taken into consideration.

I think what he means is that support is at least in the USA for those companies.

As far as the price goes, this person js selling the vk7 for 1599.00 US dollars his pricing is in CAN on the website and even at that its what (hes) selling it at. Other distributors could be much cheaper. Thats why im asking if anyone knows of another distributor. Now for any new company that hits the scene they are going to be under fire (for good reason) until they prove themselves. Stetsom's (vulcan series) is making a impression with the spl competitors for a reason. I just want to know more about the vulcan series and how they stack up against the tried and true amps.

ok I just got edgu ma cated on Stetsom vulcans, and yup their the real deal. They have outstanding low voltage power and have been run strapped at .25 ohms for burps. The deal with this amp is high power at low voltage, small size.
