I want to apologize to any of you who have tried to help me or if i offended any of you in anyway. I hate being wrong and was being bone headed because of it. Could you guys forgive me? I realize you guys know infinitely more about this kind of stuff than I do and instead of arguing with you guys I need to listen and learn so someday i can be in your shoes. so once again i'm sorry guys

Good stuff Budah... I'm surprised no one told you that the punishment for ignoring advice on this forum was to sit on the lap of this guy in his car:

Send an email to SSA, 'support@soundsolutionsaudio.com' for a basket, they may even be able to just add it to your order. You will need a screwdriver, something to shim the voice coil, a soldering iron with solder, along with clamps, and I think some glue.

I wanted to say Thanks to Mark and LaFountain Designs for the hard work and awesome website he designed and did for me. We had a nice site for the last 4 years through someone else and wanted a change. Figured it was a good opportunity to work with Mark and since SSA and his other sites are so nice I knew I wanted to go this route. If anyone has a business and wants a new look definitely give LaFountain Designs a shot. Here is my site http://zoom-moving.com/

You need to solder the tinsel leads to the terminals, the voice coil leads will already be soldered to the tinsel leads. 5 minute epoxy or spray activated CA glue will be the easiest to use.

I have been teaching high school for 17 years and I can tell you that an apology is a rare thing indeed, way to man up! There is hope for you yet.

Well, my business partner was on a mission to bank some frequent flier miles off some cheap cross country air-fare. He mentioned Vegas, Grand Canyon, (YAWN) then Los Angeles. I told him if we could get up to Simi Valley to count me in! Long story short, Grand Canyon was a big arse hole in the ground, Vegas was pretty cool...helps that my partner does a ton of traveling and gets the VIP treatment at hotels... But actually visiting Zed Audio and meeting with Stephen in person was tremendous. Picture Santa's workshop without so many migets. JK But actually pretty cool. Mostly we just talked about politics and having some laughs, but as always when we talk, I learned some good tech stuff and got some hints about some of the other non audio related projects he is working on. Also he said he is working on a lower price/power lineup of amps as well as a line with tiny footprint. (Oh yeah, I bought a little souvenier of course Sadly economy is soft and production cost is prohibitively high so no MEGALITH in the near future Simi Valley is a nice town and Stephen was very generous with his time and hospitality. My life is now officially complete and I have to say I'm not a distributor or supplier or anything. Just a regular guy who buys a few of his amps and sends him blown up stuff to repair. Kudos to Stephen and his wife for being so welcoming.

Is what I've had my eye on for the past 7 months. 24x10. I'm not exactly sure yet, adding big rims will only add the "steal me" factor which I'm trying to avoid until I get my own garage. I need new tires bad right now though, starting to get bald

Love the front end look. Almost looks like a transformer.

No, your XCON will forever be an XCON. You can change cone sizes; you would simply bolt on a new basket and install the soft parts. The only way to change the woofer is to change the motor and soft parts.

If I ever took down my wall it would be to do 4 12s where the back seat go. You day you could never do what i did, to your car. I assure you everything I did is reversable in a days time. I wouldn't destroy an SS.
