Just got my IA6.4 delivered today. I am very impressed with this little amp so far! I have a busy schedule, so hopefully I'll get the 6.4 installed soon along with the Tantrics. I can't wait to see the difference in sound going from a Kicker 350.4 powering the Rockford Fosgate to the IA6.4 powering the Tantric components. One of my dogs showing an interest in the IA amp.

threw the 12 in a test box on a Kicker 500 at 4 ohms and I think I'm going to be more than satisfied for a DD. I don't think I'll crank the bass knob up much with proper power. This measly 250 watts is enough to get a little windshield flex.

Hi guys, I recently bought a NS-1 for my installer. The amp made a world trip before coming to my country (thanks USPS) but we got it right. From the beginning there was a noise like something was loose in the amp. We thought it was due to the fact that the amp is very long and there were not enough screws to hold the panel. One day he smelled something burning, but could not define where it was coming from : from the amp, from the car next to him that was like a smoke machine in the traffic jam,...? Amp never shut off to these days. Today he installed his 2nd btl , re-installed the amp, and had to open it because he realized the fan in the amp was running as soon as he hooked up the grounds. Voltage was not staying as usual when the car was off. He thought it could be the old Beeper alarm that was defective. He saw some places burnt in the amp, and a little screw (or piece of something) in it ! He called me, telling me after the first grounds, the fan was not running ! Let's hope everything will be OK ! I am sorry for him. He told me to ask you what could be the metallic noise he was hearing since he received the amp, and I always forgot to ask. (I don't know if it makes sense, hope you'll get it !) I'll let you know how it works. He's so disappointed. Did the amp got damaged during shipping (the box was good looking) or what else could happenend ? He had good voltage, even on his "weak" electrical : never under 13 v on peak, and usually 14.ish v. He never plays for long.

Why do my lights flicker with a 300amp mechman in a 2009 Jeep liberty? Charging voltage driving down the road is 14.4 plus and it never goes below 13.4 with the stereo cracked up all the way. I am only drawing around 2000 watts.

Even though I have been in this industry for nearly 12 years I am a competition NOOB!!! I'd like to see some type of competition section. I easily view this site twice an hour daily! However I find myself going to other sites to find info on comp rules, ect. I'm sure it would be very beneficial to a lot of people here. Maybe Mark and Aaron could even get with the owners of the leagues and get them to set up league sections here to help inspiring competitors. I'm sure it would help greatly with traffic on the site as well.

Had my xs power for a little over a year now on my integra ls its a 5100r. So i would be driving and bumping and everything was fine but now in this past week ive started to notice my car slowly cranking over hesitating to start and now as i have the car running and bumping my lights are dimming this used to not happen. Those this mean my battery is going bad????

Some of you know that I purchased an AR15 and I absolutely love it! Some of my favorite things is shooting guns and car audio. I was thinking we could do a thread to show off our guns that we have! So I'll start: My Windham Weaponry MPC model AR 15. .223/5.56 Came stock with the carrying handle/A4 Dual Aperture Elevation & Windage Adjustable sight. Acessories Aimpoint PRO with QRP2 mount (stock mount for the red dot).Primary Arms 3x Long Eye Relief magnifier with American Defense AD-SM-01 swing mount.Troy Industries 7" MRF CAR/M4 Drop-In Battle Rail.Small 1" flashlight.Plan to get 2 stage trigger.More open trigger guard.Maybe some backup sights.Maybe a new stock.Fore grip.And obviously some more magazines!!Like I said, I love this gun. I will be using this for deer hunting this coming up rifle season. The optic and magnifier are clear as can be and look amazing. I love the American Defense swing mount. It's definitely an awesome feature on how it is removed. The Troy battle rail is tight and gives an awesome rugged look while not hurting the hands. For a drop in rail guard it is nice and snug with no wiggle AT ALL. I really need to get more shooting time in with this gun! It's a blast to shoot My other gun is my Remington 870 Express Magnum 12 gauge shotgun with a 3-7x scope and pistol grip. Can't remember the scope brand. Everyone knows Remington is top quality!! are the fans on these amps really as noisy as people say?

Just curious to hear all of your responses. We know why people say not to buy it and 99 percent of the time, cost comes into the picture. The only other potential negative I've ever noticed was in terms of how some of the lower lines used to be packaged that caused a little paint damage on the basket during shipping. So assume you're around a bunch of people who've never heard of nor actually heard SSA subs. What do you say that convinces them it's a solid purchase over the competition? Asking for purely informational purposes and keep in mind I have an ICON myself on order.
