I'm running a strapped pair at .35 daily dont be troubled i've been talking to nick about the same thing its not your nominal impedance but its your reactive impedance the overall ohm load that the amp sees after rise i have been team ia for almost a year now so those amps have been running .35 for almost a year now AND NO PROBLEMS i saw 4825 at 1.1 ohm rise for burp and 1.9 ohm rise music @3940w all day check the stats marylands loudest trunker is sponsored IA running 2 20.1 s daily @ .35

yeah the box is out and single sub playin sorry ray! I had to have something to play with . when it gets done you can have the box for testing on your own vehicle.But the rebuild is deffinatly on it's way. i was testing with the smoke machine in my car and the 1 12 hits the passenger side like crazy! i metered a 144.1@48 hz. burp and a 143 music very impressive for 1 sub

yes the rebuild has begun already playin with different designs. i have a single 12 box built already with 5 in aero hand built sitting in 1.9 cu. ft. I put it up against 2 3512's in my homeboys car and was only about a db down from where he was. it's a bubble caprice and it turned the back of his car to jello . vids coming soon ill keep ya posted!!!!!

it's the loudest thing in the trunk in the state 2 tenths short of a world record i got it now though. car is under construction. wife has been driving it have'nt finished it yet next new box ' paint' and new interior so before u knock it ask about it. money is slack and i dont see a hole lot of people with a rap sheet this car has so DON'T HATE

thanx lude cant' wait to help you get on your way for the new build. it's gonna be insane with 4 20.1's ehh got a new vid of it check it out on you tube. its only about half way up i didnt want to make the neighbors uneasy pretty impressive though found out why the center console moves it brokein the back form the pressure ha ha

hey john I have a question did you get a chance to play with these woofer on a spl level as well. I have the death penalty 12's and my box is 5 cu ft with 102 sq. in port by 39L it's supposed to be tuned to 37 hz if I shrink down the port to recomended how much spl do you thinkI will lose or will it stay the same my box originally had DD subs in it the DP's act a little funny in this enclosure. what do you suggest

team incriminator did very well right off hand beau boren won ss1-2 with a 161 because he beat a friend of mine that runs dd i keep telling him he should get the warden but he don't listen and then got beat in oklahoma. I qualified for finals but was unable to attend due to power issues(not enough)lol had a blow out on my amp about a month prior could only scrounge up enough change for a 20.1 that thing is rightous. But i need 3 more be there next year.beajayalso qualified for usaci but was unable to attend due to rebuild for next year. But team IA will take it all next year

it's always a pleasure going to salsbury hopefully this time to give them some thing they will remember other than locking my keys and the mic in the car during my run. my amp is wonderful. butthis time i got something special for the 2 12 class. one battery , car off, and a whole lot of love from my sponsors the death penalties are better to me than the dd's were but i've been working on something better.

hey chop i see your link is to a assman hair trick its always a treat to see randy kubek in action the truck is only good for a 155 these days he changed the wall and his score went down. still a very impressive van but now up for sale 10,000 loaded he is coming out with an extreme blazer with 8 8in dd 1508s i got them for him. he competes on the local circuit with us he is a hell of a guy and a good friend too

you know chop has a point if you find a couple true competitors(real ones) they r always willing to lend a hand in one way or another box designs help with the car and who knows maybe a friend when you show up at the next show.is your box removable try the specs i told you the length on the port is 13.5 long tuned to 40hz i changed my box ten times before i was happy different ports box sizes its never ending on my project thats what keeps me on top of my game.How many have you tried before you were happy if not find a Fatchick to sit on your trunk then you only have to have to worry about snail tracks but your score will go up!

15t x 17d x 27 w port 3 in.w x 13.5 t port fires straight out the side for max efficiency box was 2.5 after woofer tuned to 40 which peaked at 49hz the resonant freq. of all cavaliers49-51hz but if you like the lows it will get it all the way to 33hz but very strong try these dimensions you wont be sorry

5in. from the rear port 4 in. from driver's side of car my box was 17in. deep left ample amount of room to get around the box

if you are using a single sub in a cavalier if u want spl 49hz works real wellwoofer back port off the driver side firing 4 in. into the pocket depending on power i made 146.0 with a single dd 3512 in 2.5 cu. ft.3.25 in. of port firing in the corner not straight back. for sq tune the port to 37hz it pounds un godly. missed the world record in n.s.p.l 0-501 trunk by one tenth of a db.

i rean the dp's on 708w each deffinatly need at least 1500w rms each for music to make them sound there best ludeman is runnin a sundown 3001 on one death row and its laughing at him. what is your box size u have in mind for these subs i have six cubes and only one 20.1 doing as of last night 148.3 db music and 148.9 at 44hz for burp but i oversized my enclosure because it was a low powered setup i have way more in there you if your gonna use the 3000 make room for some oversizing. not much though. just gotta find your groove then its beer time

it's not the windshield that's the problem it's the sunroof and the doors . the cavalier is a hard car to move the wind shield and the shape of the car makes it darn near impossible to make an extremely high spl number. there is 160+ in that setup. the sunroof its only a matter of time, and the doors you be the judge.we'll get it right B you'll see. hope fully soon after testing there will be a 160+ music on the dash but for now my hats off to u man

Firsty off let me say that this box is a normal enclosure sealed off from the trunk. the set up tears down in 35. min. its six cubes it big for those dp's . thats why the box is coming those subs like about a 4.25 cu. ft. enclosure tuned to 37 hz. my vehicle's resonant freq. is 49 hz. the bandpass is spikier into the 40+ hz. mark should work well with music and have enough spike for burp. man i love these subs

well i certified over a 150.4 with one battery and one amp . i hope to get back there im up to a 147.4 burp@44hz. and 146.5 clamped 602w on each one of the two DD m1a's supposed to be 1200rms@1 ohm . i only have a 1.4 ohm box rise. those amps fall way short. they only retail for 450$ retail thought they would be stronger. guess not, still nasty got a 146.5 music. the break in was hard but well worth it. these subs have a low notes like no other i can do a t-shirt trick with the low wattage set up I have now. video soon to come. you can look at my you tube channel. @MrMadscientist420 leave comment let me know what you think of that enclosure. i wont change this enclosure until after world finals. then the trunk is becoming a air mover with a sixth order bandpass tuned to 33 hz. i also have a STETSOM 7k2d im using for finals with one battery. hope to see a 153

http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sv6W_sQyFRc its all in the trunk the box is 6 cubes firing it off the back would be pointless its what the speakers i was using before it required that big encloser in any organization this car is considered a TRUNKER the back seat is in there and functional almost had the NSPL world record missed it by.2 db thats ok i'll get it next time watch this video tell me if this makes it interesting one T40001bd on 2 DD3512's this box is insane the set up tears down in about 35 mins. that box is heavy now with the dp's in it probably 200 lbs. easy.takes two to get it out of the car pretty funny actually

yes that is the catch i do i have 3 batteries runnin the strapped pair its always been safe practice .u gotta have power to make power.
