  2. Topic Description and title is pretty cut and dry. I ordered one for a planned Dodge Challenger install. Challenger changed to an SRT8 Magnum, so two were needed. The 30 Day build time killed that as I needed it in two weeks. No fault to Fi, as its good to see their business is picking up. Anyway, had to go with DC soundlab subs and now have the Fi Sub for sale. FI BTL 12 Dual 1 Fully loaded, silver dust cap. Stil in box, screwed to the shipping materials. Never used. With shipping and such it came out to 450ish. I'll let it go for 400. I live in Miami and will travel as far as West Palm. If you need it delivered farther we'll talk. I also have a 2000 watt Sound Stream Tarantula 2000D available for 550. Ended up running a Digital Design Amp. Pics available if interested. Current setup
  3. Howdy, I've ordered 1 fully loaded BTL12, Dual 1 ohm for daily use. I was eyeballing a Soundstream XXX 4000D to power the thing. In talking to an installer, they have suggested that the amp wouldn't work efficiently with the BTL Sub. They are currently trying to sell me on securing two 2000D's from soundstream and running one sub per voice coil. Looking around, this doesn't seem to be the best course of action eitehr. Any thoughts? This install will be in a 2009 Dodge Challenger RT. I'll be going with an Eclipse Navigation head unit. Stock stereo is the six speaker Boston Acoustics setup with a 270 watt amp for mids and highs.

    Will this work for 2 15" Fi BTL's ?

Good Morning, I just came across one of your posts and your info regarding enclosure builds. I just ordered 1 12' BTL and I'm looking to install into a 2009 Dodge Challenger. I'm not looking for anything crazy, just a solid design that will fit in the trunk and is tuned to suggested frequencies. I don't know if it matters, but the model I am purchasing does not come with the 8 inch sub installed in the rear deck, so there is an opening from the trunk to the deck, perhaps the port can be directed there, with the subs facing the rear. I'm not sure this is possible, but any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks again.

    Amp Selection

Howdy, I'm looking to pick up the fully loaded BTL 12 dual 1 ohms. Simple questions: What amps would you fine folks push it with? Typically I'd go with a pair of subs, but I'm not confident a ported enclosure would fit in the back of an 09 Challenger without swallowing up the entire trunk. Any suggestions?
