Hey Sean can you go define beaming in the Audio Terminology tech section, I went to add it to the list but not sure of the definition?

Good day sir, how where the trails?
So a 3" on axis on the dash pointing right at me will net enough output with a 15" sub? The type-r SPR-s17 comps have about half the output I am looking for.
I see the SP d3004/602000 plays pretty low, has good dispersion, can I get near same results with the d3004 in the door as with a 3"on the dash on axis? Not trying to ask stupid quetions, just this is the easiest mounting, if not I WILL BE doing the 3" on the dash on axis.
I really like the way my Xterra sounds (other than output) with no tweeters, the 2" in the dash and the 6x9 way the hell down at the bottom of the door, 8" sub under the drivers seat, and 6.5 in rear doors for rear fill. In the Xterra I can't even localize the 6x9's or rear 6.5's they are just there.
So i can make a 3" work right here, this mock horn is 3 3/4" dia.
What 3" do you recommend for this location?

Its not a matter of people making you, like my first post said: you will stop when you want to stop, because you are tired of the outcome.

You can go to all the treatment in the world, if you don't want to stop its a waste. All treatment does is give you the tools to stop(ie all the shit i said in my last post), if you don't want to use your brain they can't make you.

pretty pucking awesome shading job
The white highlights on the tears really does the trick. The drop shadows also give great depth, they look SO cool when they are still all red and fresh. wish they stayed that way.
GOD you know the sternum is one of the worst areas on the body, I promise this poor F*cker was in PAIN!!!

I spent some time looking at tweeters and full range drivers.
the tweeters I looked at:
Seas 27TFFNC/G
ScanSpeak D3004/602000
LPG 25NFA
The Full Range speakers I looked at
Fostex FF125K
Fostex FF85K
TangBang W4-1320SJ
TangBang W3-1364A
TangBang W4-1052SD
I looked at others but these are the one's I think may meet my needs as they are the most efficient/sensitive and had the best looking response curves. I won't even look at midbass speakers until you tell me to.

How well Does the fiberglass resin bond to the plastic? How well does the body filler bond to the plastic?
Looks like you are havin' fun! Keep up the good work!

UPDATE:
Ok so I know a 3-way is a stupid idea, and will not help create the sound stage I am after. SO lets start over and design a 2-way.
M5, I know speakers are your fortay. I have read ALOT of your posts on the matter and know your feelings.
My #1 goal in a truely good sound stage.
I have the H100 for prossessing.
I AM MORE THAN HAPPY to run a full range with no tweeter. Infact this is how my RF premium factory stereo is set up in Xterra, which has a GREAT sound stage. I looked at the Fostex ff85k and ff125k and other 3" you suggested in the other topic. I also looked at what you have in your rides.
A tweeter and midbass in the door where I have them would be the easiest. But if a full range on the dash or A-pillar will net better results and image better than lets go that route.
I am willing to run 8ohm speakers and no tweeter.
where a 3" will fit on axis.....
The 3" in the A-pillar....
Don't laugh, the butter dish is where a 4 1/2" will fit in the A-pillar......
3" firing up......
the factory tweeter location.....
the RF in the Xterra.........
how it looks sitting.....
door open.....
Let me know your thoughts and we will go from there.

Shopping for a digital camera, I like the specs and features on this one: Walmart.com: Kodak Easyshare Z950 Black 12MP Digital Camera with 10x Optical Zoom: Digital Cameras anyone recommend anything else?
I have a Sony Cybershot and LOVE it. Very user friendly.

Like I stated twice now I only used the MAX recommended hardener, I bought quality resin at the autobody store, I think atmoshpere has very little to to do with the resin hardening.
Sorry to cluter your build log brother, I just like to share what I haver learned. Please take a look at my build and please don't be bashful with the comments, I just post a shit load of pictures cause I know most people don't read anyway.
Keep up the GOOD work and I'll be watchin'.

Beaming:
Not positive to what to correct definintion would be though? a term used to describe a speaker with narrow dispersion characteristics.

I plan on having a lazy boring weekend.
The goal was to cut some wood... but it ain't happenin untill I gets me a saw.
X pucking 2
I need to buy a saw so I can cut my own wood from now on since Home Depot didnt do all the cuts precise (I guess if you want it done right you do it yourself).
Theres a reason them jackasses work at Home Depot, they can't fuckin' hang on a job site, same with all the stupid building inspectors out there......
Its not home depot's job to cut it right, it says right there on the saw it is not for precision cuts.
Why even get out of bed if you are going to do something half ass. Do it right or don't do it at all......

Lookin' GOOD, I'm tuned in.
How do you like your Pathfinder? I have a 2006 Nissian Xterra.
i like it alot, for some reason i like the model i have better than the 07-08...i leased one and those are just too bulky for me, so the SE i have now is the perfect size with just enough beast in it
Thats funny, the Xterras are the other way around. My friend has an 05 and its more like a car and I couldn't own one.

The book says the codes on 95 and newer hondas need an OBD ll scan tool or factory PGM tester. that sucks, the older ones only required a jumper wire installed and the check engine light blinked out the codes like morse code.
If the light is an amplimeter, and not voltmeter, the amps could be out of the lights exceptable range scale.

I have a code book, let me dig it out and see what it says.....

HA, HA now I think I know where you got your handle, I use to ride ArticCat M5. I rode the M7 after that but I'm 200 lbs so I liked the lower M5 more.
Nope. Never owned a ditch pickle.
I'm 220lbs, but like my stuff to last. Polaris all the way.
My avatar should be a dead giveaway on why my handle is M5...considering it is my car.
I hope thier sleds are better than thier 4wheelers, the sportsmans are junk.LOL
Ha Ha actually the RMK was my second pick back then, havent road in a few years.
I was closer to 250 then also, The m5 handled nice for my fat ass....
I got a 660 Grizzly now.....hold the fuck on.

That being said. I'd play with your butter dish some more and decide if you are willing to do it. I'll also add that I prefer a 3" full range driver for its reach, but there are 4"ers that can work too. My favorite 4 would require that you add a tweeter as well though which then defeats the purpose.
I can only fit the 4 1/2" in the A-pillar, but they would be off axis a little. I don't mind doing a tweeter with the 4 1/2" if you can tell me how I would do the processing? Hevean forbid I say his name on here but the 4 1/2" and tweeter would have to be like the A-pillars in St*ve M*ede's Tahoe for an example.
