Have been. But not allowed to be anywhere, all parks, conservation areas, trails are closed.

Only so many walks you can do.

And they're bored after a month of the same toys in the back yard.  Even the trampoline has lost it's excitement...

At least the youngest still enjoys digging in the sandbox.

Been trying things like board games and card games with them. But the youngest isn't quite old enough for them yet.

Really I gotta just suck it up and quite bitching, at the end of the day I've got it really good.  Wife and I both have stable employment, and we have a happy healthy family.  And that's what matters most in the end.

Possibly build model cars. Model rockets. Break out some paint and do a paint class. Build something in the garage and show them how to use tools.
if it was my dad he would’ve put me to work doing something. Pulling weeds, cleaning, organizing, stripping parts, White washing fences. if that don’t work they will probably avoid you like the plague just for mentioning It.

  2. My wife’s company emailed this week and stated they would put everyone back on payroll for the next six weeks, until reopening.
Sounded like there was going to be a bunch of new regulations in place as well.

    Going stir crazy.

The other day my felt dizzy/lightheaded/faint her bp had dropped. She was tired all the time.

Lasted a couple days like this. Felt nauseous as well.

Apparently, these are the "atypical" symptoms for covid19...

She works in physio/occupational therapy at the hospital, so she had to go for covid testing Friday to make sure.

Now the whole damn house is on quarantine until we hear back. So I'm off work as well.  Called one of the upper managers (assistant warden of operations) he's thinking of putting me off work for 14 days either way the testing goes.  Oh, hell no.  :madsign:

Her symptoms are gone, was probably her ongoing heart stuff she's already on meds for, but we need to make sure.

Sounds like a good time to start busting out projects to keep the mind busy.

  4. At my shop where we burn through filters I just buy the cheap ones. That’s running AC and heat year round. And also close proximity to heavy traffic. They easily have a solid 1/4” of dirt after 4 to 6 months.
At home I’m still running the re-usable one that was in there when I showed up. That’s only the furnace and less outside dust. It’s hardly dirty when I blow it out once a year.
pretty good ends of the spectrum for comparison.

  5. Without knowing the vehicle is hard to recommend an exact model. Sometimes one size bigger will fit in the same space, with little or no work. But you’ll have to measure.

Any good AGM battery will be an improvement.
If money’s no object I would either get an XS Power battery or a Deka. otherwise I personally am running a pair of AGM’s from O’Reilly’s ( Super Start iirc) and they are holding up well.

whatever you do, don't waste your money on an Optima.

My bones feel like they are wrapped in barbed wire.

    Fuck my life.

I could use some good weather.

You and me both. It snowed all day here yesterday. I am waddling like a penguin this morning. King Kong has my spine. I’m so over it.

ready for some hookers and blow in a bungalow in Bora-Bora.

So, I realized one of the stupidest things that I lock up on when trying to buy is stupid air filters for my house. What do you guys do? I don't care if I have to replace them often as long as I know I'm doing what's best for my system in the long run.

There should be a reusable one available. Otherwise I’d just buy a pack of the cheap ones and change them accordingly.

  8. I have plug-ins wired all around my garage like that. 2/3’s of it is done with regular romex wire just stapled to the wall. I added a breaker and a plug-in right next to the power panel, just so it’s not “permanent”.

@j-roadtatts. Love you brother.  Hope she takes it easy for you both!  And damn those sexy speakers!!!! I keep eyefucking them.

    :D. :D. :D

Love you too my friend. We both get plenty of sleep and eat healthy. lots of exercise. She knocks back at 6 or 7 mile hike every morning.

Glad you think the speakers are sexy! I drool on them every time I look at them. :)

Wishing you the best sir.  Are you able to free lance out of your house?

That’s the plan. I’m also willing to travel to their house. Honestly did not keep track of the virus thing until it shut me down. So I’ve just kind of been watching the numbers the last couple weeks to see how I wanted to proceed.

  11. Honestly Matt I fear more for my wife. She takes Embral and has a compromised immune system like you. So I fear that I could easily carry it with no signs back to her.
she is crazy though. Her doctor already told her do not leave the house. Send someone else to the store and have them change clothes and shower when they get home. Do you think she listens?

It seems like black Friday everyday at our Walmart. Parking lots are full everyday I drive by.

Guess when we get it that will be the sharing market.

I think one big sharing point is paper money. I have no science to back that though.
