    New system opinion's

Yea guy's thank's I cant wait to start on this. This will be my first real big build. Im stoked. I got the two extra sx1250.1 now so I have 4 of them. Anybody ever deal with the ss rl-s 12's? I am pretty sure I would still have the airspace I need for four of them, I would just have to mount the amp's somewhere else. Thank's everyone, I will keep you posted on the build once I start.

    New system opinion's

Ok I dont actually get the truck for a couple more week's. I am just trying to get option's and get everything I want now, as I know once I get the truck, I will be broke and not be able to get it all them. The xcon's look good, and nothing but good review's also. Plus they are only $20 buck's more than what I wanted to spend. As far as box measurement's I am not sure yet, but I am going to take the back seat out, so I will have enough room to run pretty much any sub I want. The box itself will be mdf with plexiglass window's to show off the sub's with a fiberglass amp rack on top of it. I am also getting 2 more of the kicker sx1250.1 amp's on thursday. I am wanting to run 4 twelve's in a sealed box. So any more suggestion's on sub's or a headunit? I did hear four fi 12s today. They beat down like crazy but also sounded good. But like I said almost any 4 sub's should beat down if you do it right. He had them in a tahoe. They where all facing the roof. I have about the same space he has but mine will be in row facing the front seat's or back wall. Also the floor, door's, and back wall is all getting dynamat. Let me know what else you want to know. Thank's alot.

    New system opinion's

Ok guy's I am getting a new toyota tundra in a couple week's with the factory jbl system in it. It is the crew cab model. Jbl is coming out and my stuff going in. My question is what sub's do you recommend? I have the whole back seat area to play with as I will probably take the seat out if I need the room. I have two kicker sx1250.1 sub amp's which the birth sheet's say 1610 on both of them. I am thinking 4 ss rl-p 12's. I am open to other other suggestion's though. I am leaning toward's them as that would be 805 watt's rms to each speaker which I think would be good, plus they have nothing but good review's. Let me know if I am wrong. I also have two set's of criticial mass 6 and half's for each of the door's with criticial mass 3 and half's for the dash. And three set's of criticial mass tweeter's which will all go into the factory location's. I have a kicker sx900.4 to run the 6 and a half's and two kicker sx700.4 to run the tweeter's and the 3 and half's. And no I am not trying to be like snoop dogg with the criticial mass either, I just got them on a hell of a deal I could not pass up. I got all of them for 400=) I am going for sq as I am pretty sure 4 12's would be loud enough. I have only really ever dealt with ok system's as they where all in kinda crappy vehicle's. I have had a kicker l7 with a memphis 500 watt, two jbl 12's with a power acoustik 1600 watt, and a pair of pioneer 12's with a kicker 750 watt amp. I also got a cadence mallet 15 in a prefab box today that work's for 10 buck's. Hooked it up to the house stereo just to make sure it worked, so not sure if I like the sound of it yet. I liked the kicker cause it got loud in the custom ported box but sounded like crap at loud level's. The jbl's sounded decent but did not get loud, and the pioneer's just sounded like crap all together. I got the kicker sx amp's because I like the fact I can controll up to 16 amp's with the singal remote plus I got them on somewhat of a deal. I dont have a head unit yet either, but was leaning toward's a pioneer 800prs. I like the simple look of it, but has decent sound quality from what I have read. Plus I want to be differant as everyone around here has the pioneer's with stupid dolphin's and rockford fosgate p3's. So let me know what you guy's think. I am open to anything. Thank's alot. Oh yea I have around 400-450 to spend on a head unit, and about 350 a piece to spend on sub's.

    Suggestion's

Hey guy's. Im a newbie here. I am looking at the soundsplinter sub's. My question is which should I get? One rl-s12 or two rl-p12's. I have a 96 chevy tahoe 2 door. I dont use the back for anything, so space is not a problem. Or should I get another kind of sub? I like the soundsplinter's because I have never heard anything negative about them, plus they are cheaper than the other sub's I was looking at. (Re audio 12mt's) I have a kicker sx1250.1 amp. The birth sheet say's 1450x1@1ohm rms. Also ported or sealed? Any help would be great. Thank's alot.
