I've only got 250 watts and the Gcon is at the very top end of my budget (wouldn't have any left for a box). Otherwise I'd love to get one. The output of the 10" Dcon ported was insane for what it was and I'm not really looking for more (at least not until I win the lottery ). I've always ran sealed in the past and in crappy boxes, and they did the job, so I think a single 12" Dcon in a quality sealed box would suit me just fine.

I feel really dumb asking this, but are the prices on the Dcon what they always are? I can't remember from when I bought my first Dcon, but they seem to be lower than I remember. If that's the case, then I know what I'll be getting for my birthday (a 12" this time).

I regret ever selling my 10". The box just took up too much space. I should have sold the box and kept the Dcon. I'll be going sealed this time, which is why I'm thinking the 12".

I hope the preorder price is good, because I really want one. Pre orders are only needed when your trying to pay for a mass overseas order. when your equipment is built local at an affordable price then you dont need to mark it down just to sell some. I see.

I've got a box for a single 12" just sitting in the garage and thought I'd put it to use. I'm looking for some recommendations for a cheap twelve. This is just something to get me by for a while so I'm only looking at spending around $50 max. The box is just over 1 cubic foot (something like 1.12 I think) and the cutout is a hair over 11".

I hope the preorder price is good, because I really want one. What pre-order? We have never done one before. I am not comfortable accepting orders before product is ready to build or ship. My bad, yo.

Ok, dumb question. I have an Orion Cobalt 500.1. It does 250 watts at 2 ohms. I don't plan on upgrading/getting anything that puts out more power any time soon. What would be a better use of the wattage I have: a Dcon or Gcon?

I had a 10" XTR (not XTR Pro) just a few months ago and it was a very good sub for the money. But personally, for the price, I'd spend a little more and get a Dcon. I regret ever selling mine. Or, like was mentioned, wait for the Gcon to come out.

It's been so long ago that I can't remember exactly what I got, but I know it was high enough I was like, "How the hell did I do that?" Lots of good guesses I suppose.

Mine was a VERY tight squeeze. Had to use a standard screwdriver to pry it up when I took it out.
