well i sold my truck and pulled all this out of, i have my 93 mustang and the trunk is super small, i don;t think the xcon will fit with out a box... so i am not sure what a 15 Xcon is worth, it still sounds great, it is a dual 2 ohm , i also have the sundown 1500d that was running it, and then a pair of Focal KRX2's this setup sounded great together and all worked perfect when i pulled it all out, prices will be or best offer.. i am not sure what this stuff is worth used 15 Xcon dual 2 ohm 275. plus shipping sundown 1500d 250.00 plus shipping Focal KRX2.. i payed 800.00 used... how is 450.00 plus some shipping i am open to some offers if it sounds to high... just try to be fair.. no super low ballers... in that case i will just keep them... Thanks........ oh... i am 53 years old and like great sounding music, i never just drove around trying to blow stuff up ... all stuff was played loud, but at it best sound....

i had a 15 Xcon in my 06 F-150 supercrew..ran off a sundown 1500d. it sounded unreal in there..... it was total love right there

i will get some photos today for the add.... no hatch on mine..it has the battery in the trunk to, the car has a supercharger on it

those should sound good in there.,. my 15 Xcon pounds in my 06 FX4 f-150 supercrew.. now just add some good components in the front doors and it will sound unreal

i just was at the store and seen the Outrageous Deals...... i am not on here alot so i missed all the deals.. i wish i would of got a email or something, i would of bought at least one of every thing ... those where some smoking deals... may be we could get a list for people to put there names on to be emailed for the deals as they come up... or maybe you did send them... now i think about it my email has changed when i switched internet provider... well keep up the killer deals. i will be keeping a close eye on them now

well i started to build my setup for the 2 12" Dcons i ordered a week ago... on the sides are going to be for the Dcons.. 1.20 cu.ft. sealed ... it will look larger from the front , but will have a smaller box inside.. then in the center will be for my amp.. dvd blue ray player.. direct tv tivo .. it will sit under my 50" samsung that is mounted to the wall.. well here is a few pics of it.. just getting started... so dam cold out.. i cut the mdf and routed it out side in the work shead, but putting it together in the basement.. on the wifes folding table..

it is pretty easy to build a box.... pick what sub you want and figure out if you want it sealed or ported.. most manufactures say if there sub is better in a sealed or ported enclosure.. then they will say how big of a box... SSA is really good at telling you Enclosure Recommendations: see below.. then if you go to like re box calculator you can change the numbers that are in red and it will calculate tthe box size and tell you how box volume.. and all the info you need.. it will even give you a cut list and tell you what size to cut each piece.. you can also google anything you need to know.. there are tons of sites with pictures and articls re box calculator http://www.reaudio.com/speaker_box/LPort_Box_Calc.html this is for a 12" Dcon Enclosure Recommendations: Sealed: .90 cu.ft. i use to have speakers in all 4 doors of my 06 ford f-150 super crew.. and i plain on hooking the rears back up agin this summer when i put in the new amp i bought, but haven't got put in yet.. for music my truck rocks with the Focal krx2's in the front doors and my Xcon in the rear.... but when we take road trips or go riding and it starts to rain out the wife and kid watch DVD's it sounds way better in surround sound.. Movies flat sound great in the truck with the Xcon and speakers in all the doors.. i need to get a center speaker yet.. just not sure how i am going to mount it yet.... here is a pic of my setup for movies. . i put a new rear monitor in that swivels 90 deg.

i went to home depot to look for some weather stripping... i found this stuff which is kind of like rubber.. it worked great and sealed it up. it fit perfect for size on the back of the sub and has like a doulble seal.... boy did that help!!! they sound great now.... here is the stuff i bought.... i am super happy with these subs for this build.. Thanks to SSA for some great sounding subs at a great price... oh ya.... these 2 Dcons with the Bash 500 watt plate amp are a pretty good match for power..

Thanks everyone..... it sounds good.... other then my boy says he can hear a high pitch whistle when the bass hits.. i feel a little air coming around one of the subs... when he listens he can hear it at both subs... ( i can't hear it.. i think to many years of loud music for me. and some of my bikes and quads are pretty loud. plus i am getting old 50.. ) i am thinking of going to the army surplus store, i seen they have some of that like tar rope.. kind of like what they use to give you when you would install a sun rofe in a car to seal out the water .. any other ideas of what to put around the back of the sub to seal it ? i am pretty sure the rest of the box is sealed good.. this is the first sealed box i have every built..
