    T-shirts are here!!!

Your webpage says $25 for the shirts, has the price gone up? Either way I'm interested, just need to know how much to send.

    TL boxes?

I know it was mentioned in the "mag 15 pored for SQ" topic but I thought it deserved its own thread. Has anyone tried this or does anyone know of a good tutorial to make a transmission line box? Beyond being fairly large are there any other drawbacks to using them in a car?

15" mag bx1500d and fiberglass box in the trunk

Well, if his estimates are close and it's a cylindrical shape: Pi*r^2*h= 3.14*1.25^2in*1=4.9 cubic feet-.3 cubic feet displacement = 4.6 cubic feet. That seems like an awfully big tire well. If it's like a half sphere that will require some calculus.

    Lets Represent

Any chance you could post up a picture of the shirts? I think I might wanna get one of those but I wouldn't mind seeing it first =P

    Represent!!!

I wouldn't really call that "basting" per se. The man is welcome to his own opinion and I can honestly say that's the first bad review I've ever seen them get which is pretty darn good in my eyes. If he were saying something like they don't get as loud as the 12a, then yeah, you could probably jump in and say you have proof to the contrary but when he's just saying he doesn't like the sound there's not much you can do.

460 watts enough for the 15?

Thank you very much for the reply! There are a couple reasons for my wanting to purchase a 15... -Similar output in a sealed box as compared to the 12 ported -Will get lower than the 12, not a huge concern but it's nice to have none the less -Local car shop is going to be having some spl competitions, so if the 15 is anything like the 12 I would get a little more output and still be able to maintain a very good daily driver. Thanks again! Mike
  7. I've given serious consideration to selling my D2 12 and purchasing a 15. At the moment, however, I would only be able to throw 460 watts rms at the thing. My 12 in a 2 cube box at 28 hz gets louder than I ever need it to with that many watts but will the 15 respond the similarly? I do plan on upgrading to a 1000 watt amp sometime in the future but it wouldn't be for at least another couple of months. I would probably put the 15 in a 2 -2.5 cubic ft sealed box, but space really isn't an issue. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Mike
