If we had the electrical upgrades done, I’d pull the Brutal Sounds 2k out of my Avalanche and double down on those 10s and really see what they can do. maybe later -

There’s a small SPL competition league that’s here in the south called Bass Wars. They are having an event here in MS Saturday. We are going to enter this car and see what happens. Then my MECA event is Sunday where I’m entering my Sound Quality Avalanche. Going to be a busy weekend !!! -

Sounds like to me you’ve done your homework on equipment. Seems to me like you should already know the answer to this. not trying to be an asshole or anything, but it sounds like your trolling. Just Saying -
I'm assuming your running sealed, but every sundown sub I've ever seen has been ported and tuned. Maybe a new ported and tuned enclosure may be what you need verses swapping gear. Just an Observation.

A good starting crossover point for the tweeters is 3000 htz with a 12 db slope. A good starting point for the mids is high pass 2600 htz with a 12 db slope and low pass 70 htz with a 12 db slope. Hope this helps.

Ok ... Just found out that there’s a Local MECA 1x Event on June 1st. Think I’m gonna shine the ole Avalanche up, tune up the ole system, and enter her in SQL Street Class. Get me a reference score sheet to see what’s needed to be done to kick ass at World Finals ... LOL See what happens !!!

My Avalanche FINALLY came back to me on the Roll Back !!! "Cat Back" Duals Done !!! Dude hooked me up with a Flow Master Muffler and Kick ASS Chrome Tips !!! Tucked them in Real Nice !!! He's done the exhaust work on every truck I've owned so far !!! Now my Avalanche sounds like she has a LARGE pair of Grape Fruits !!!
