60's huh ive searched every where i cant find but a couple of xtra cabs, are they on youtube or ssa is there pics,vids i want to see anything in trucks no walls been working on mine for 10 yrs need to finish

I have xtra cab truck too its so hard to get it to sound good ive had at least 15 boxes in there and still wonder witch one is best i have 2 subs up 2 passenger and port up @ driver its ok,my prob is i dont know if the dynamat on the roof is hurting my numbers or what. i tried subs forward and port forward @drivers side worst box ever im debating the subs forward port up.I would just have to modify my existing box and cover the top holes good luck man

hey guys have 2 18" smd subs, have xtra cab f150,trying to do NW have 20d x 24h x 57w so i have 11cuft = 5.5 per sub,trying to get into the 50's but i cant seem to get there, any help appr.I have interchangeable port spl port 17x 13 thats the biggest i could fit, subs up on passenger port up on driver,double 13 ply birch all of box,running stetsom 7k2d 4xs power batts (2700's) 1 h/o alt ohio gen.4 runs 0 gauge 2 pwr 2grnd to the 3 batts in rear,should i just go for the wall? i'd get about 20 cu ft. SSNW1-2. ANY HELP THNKS

dont use clamps or nail guns,waste of time and money or fancy screws,use 1 5/8 0r 2" dry wall screws regular mdf not the lightweight mdf that will just crumble or 11-13 ply birch is better than mdf and lighter(15 years making boxes)

dont get too close to the edge 3" max and pre drill only top wood not the one under

about 148 have a ohio gen 220 the only co. that i know makes bracket for dual is DC $400 plus i have to use one of their alt as 2nd $650 270xp, i sent back the ohio and they beefed it up for me did 322 amps havnt tried it out yet, adding 12 runs of 0guage more thought of getting bigger amp but with new wires maybe i can get higer #s

no, tried subs up port forward at bottom,subs forward on left side,port forward on driver side. subs in middle top,two ports up one on each side.havent tried subs forward port forward in center.

between 50-52 htz

stetsom doesnt even have map,i have 2 stetsoms 1 7kd and 1 7k2d for sale

I love it when people buy stuff online then bring it to the shops so they can pro install it then their awsome deal they got online stops working or frys and try to blame the shop for the crap they bought online in the first place,Also everybody and their moms are trying to do 1 ohm systems trying to get 1000 watts out of their 600.1 @ 1ohm amps, why not just spend some $ and get a 1000 watt @ 2 ohm amp and be happy that your equipment will last 10+ years instead of maybe 1 year @ 1 ohm, some guys would rather save those 20 bucks id rather not.

Hi guys i have all sorts of problems,1st where to start. my OHIO alternator does lousy at keeping the charge to my 4 xs 2700s, i have 2 runs of 0 gauge from the front battery to the back, 2 grnd and 2 positives, big 3 in 0 gauge,my amp will play about 5 min then shut off, then play 1 min and shut off and so on downhill. back when i had 2 orion 15s amp never shut off, same set up diff subs. now that i got 2 18 SMDs i think they are too hungry for power the amp is 9000w rms 13.8 volts. alternator is 14.0 when cold 13.4 warm then music goes and so does the voltage12.8 max. someone said to get a smaller pulley OHIO sent me one with 6 grooves mine is 8, DC power makes a dual alt bracket for my truck $400 bucks plus one of their alts has to be used $600 buks more plus the OHIO i have $500 bucks. MECHMAN says (why you get 12 volt batteries you should get 14 volt) so now i have to sell my 4 new batts to get 14 volts? my alt doesnt even do 14, ive been told 3-4 diffrent ways of connecting my batteries? i just cant get to 150 db i see guys in mini vans with 2 12s in a box just thrown in the back braggin 150s ive been doing this for a long time just cant make it happen, my truck is a xtra cab f150, anybody know if this is a lost cause SUPER STREET NO WALL 1-2.THANKS for any help.

yes i spoke to ohio gen tom has never seen or heard of a dual alt for my truck,he sent me a smaller pulley but less grooves, my alt is not 300 amps it is 234 max alternator output it says. the sheet included states,OUTPUT CURRENT TABLE. output current @ 1600rpm=22 amps,@1800rpm =49 amps,@2000 rpm=71amps,@2500rpm=123amps,@3000rpm=160amps,@4000rpm=200,@5000rpm=221@6000rpm=234. all these are 2 alternator speed it says on paper.My box i made, is double layerd 13ply birch with 2x4 bracing inside and all fiberglass resin on all walls,SUBS to the passenger facing up PORT drivers side facing up,box is 10 cuft port as big as possible.

The ti's are by far better than any subs you mentioned materials alone are twice as nice and stronger and can easy take over 3000w each on music i sold my 15 TI PRO to my buddy its been around for 7-8 years hes doing a STETSOM 5KE , 5000w rms on music thing takes it like nothing. reason i sold it was i wanted 18's so i got 2 SMD'S i have them on a STETSOM 7K2D im trying to get rid of the amp too small for both subs.
