Got my New 12 Q Installed = WOW

I wonder why you said this also, I was planning on two SSD 10's instead of one 12Q. But you have my attention, if you have personal experience in this cituation.

    ICON Prototype 12" Temp build

How soon do you think the new look will be available for the 10" ICON and will the surface cone area change what size box they need to be put in? Thanks
  3. To start off with, I have a 2000 Silverado ext.cab with RF 400.4 on mids/highs. Diamond Audio m361 components in the front doors and m341 components in the ream so I have quality mids/highs to hang with the subs I choose. I want to go with 2 12" subs in a 1.15cub ft box per sub(sealed). I will be running a RF BD1500.1 on the subs, at 13.8volts it puts out 1,627watts @ 2ohms. I was dead set on the IA Lethal Injection's, but I wanted to know what was everyone's impression of the FI Q. How does it compare to the LI in the air space I have and what are the pros and cons of each? I know the LI's come fully loaded, but you have to pay for the extras in the FI Q. I want something that hits all the notes it possibly can with the air space and power I can give it. Thanks in advance!
  4. I have the RF BD1500.1 and at 13.8v (2ohm load) it runs at 1627 watts. It stays cool and it has never got to hot, clipped, or turned off(safe mode). If you have it running at 1 ohm load, the BD 1500.1(2003 model) will deffently be more than 2000 watts. I was curious so I called my local RF shop, they test everything they sell. He told me that at 12v the BD 1500.1 will run at about 2800 watts, but at 1 ohm load they will over-heat and turn in safe mode. Only if you run it at 1 ohm load with the vol. Wide open all the time. You have a great amp, make sure the ground wire is is very good. That is important on all amps, but the BD is a special case. You will get a huming noise from the amp and it will not be as efficient!

    12" Lethal Injection T/S Parameters?

Thanks for the advice, I guess I am going to email Nick. I am putting them in a 2000 Silverado Ext. Cab. The box is 1.15 cu ft per sub, but my installer is skeptical on this SPL brand sub being in this size box. But I looked at the spec and it saids .8cu ft to 1.4cu ft. I am right there in the middle and will be pushing 750 watts rms to each sub. But then on the other hand, my builder/installer is not familar with IA Lethal Injections.
  7. Does anyone know the T/S parameters for the Lethal Injection 12 inch dual 2 ohm subwoofers? Local audio shop is building me a box and said he needed them to run the numbers and figure the best size for my box. The box is going to be sealed, I know alot of people like them ported. But I like them sealed, also I will be running them on a RF BD1500.1!!
