  1. oh and for everyone that thinks im a busta i work a lot my bad guys
  2. What was the issue? the way i wired the positive and negative to my amp [+] [+] [-] [-] 1 2 3 4 i tried 1 and 4 then 1 and 3 finally i did 2 and 4 and my sub was working not slappin as hard as i thought it would tho maybe it needs to be broken in more but i think it should be louder then what it is
  3. got ,my amp working finally thanks for the help you guys appreciate it
  4. got my amp working, damn speaker wire,

  5. i havent changed the wiring at all so yeah it was wired in series on the other amp too if its in series, and its a single driver dual 1ohm then its going to put a 2ohm load on your amp, which is fine i just dont get why my sub isnt bumping tho i had it bumping yesterday on my other amp and it was fine i got my new amp today hooked it all up, made sure everything was good went to play some music and no bass whats music without bass haha

  7. You have the coils wired in series then? If it were wired in parallel instead that would present a .5 ohm load at the amp which SHOULD probably put the amp into protection and cause it to not play anything. Though that would really depend on the amp and how the protection circuitry is designed. Do you have a DMM? Also, have you checked both ends of your RCA's to verify they're still plugged in? (sounds silly, but I've seen it happen) Can you re-install your old amp and verify everything is working? There is ALWAYS a chance that the new one is bad out of the box. While it's VERY rare, it does happen. so since i have my sub wired in series and my amp is parallel it wont work? if i re wire the sub to a .5 load, and my amp goes into protection is that bad or a good sign? whats DMM?
  8. RCA's are plugged into input tried tinkering around with the gain to see if the sub made any noise and nothing , i could try again tho speaker connection at the terminals, does that mean how i have it wired like since mt sub is a dual 1 ohm, i wired it at 2 ohms ?
  9. sorry fellas amp gets power doesn't go into protection didn't touch the wiring of the sub checked my ground checked remote wire fuses are good im pretty new to this so i barely know the basics
