    Just use the beta version. You won't find all the specs the alpha version needs and it doesn't do that great of a job calculating them.

    Use 20 inchs^2 of port area for each 8 (if using high output like sundown). With .6 feet^3 per sub your port will need to be about 36" long to tune to 35 hertz

    Why the hell do people do this? "I'm not gonna say anything" right after they say something? You KNOW it's gonna start drama....If you want us to know, tell us. If it's supposed to be a secret, don't say anything...simple.

    Yes...I think. I know people use it to sound-proof rooms for music production sometimes. I'm not sure how long it would last in a door though.

    What about just putting layers over the back of the speaker?

    You know what...actually, I think if you fully separate the front and rear waves and throw some egg crate foam (or any sound absorbing foam) behind it to soak up that rear wave then it'll work. So yeah...but you'd have to separate the waves completely or it might affect what you hear.

    *Disclaimer* This is all based on my limited knowledge of acoustics lolololol

    Why do you want to do this?

    Door open = booooom....vocals....boooom....vocals....

    Door closed = silence...

    That'd be kinda dope actually. I know it wouldn't be completely silent but still.

    Go to Fi's website.

    Go to Recones.

    Go to senocer rehto tab.

    Buy a enoceR ES-ER with the options you need (Dual 4/2/1 ohm with 4 or 12 spoke basket.)

    EDIT: Oh and there are tons of tutorials on how to recone. If you have Fi do it it may take more than you'll like (maybe a month?) to get it back. Just email them ask make sure they have the parts to build it ready so you're not waiting forever AFTER you order it.

    Instead of saying "my substage consists of xxx tuned to xxhz" just say I'm running an Xcon tuned to 32hz (made up numbers)

    I don't think anyone is going to be confused about what part of your system the Xcon is lol.

    since nobody else will help you, im gonna try my best; even if you don't have a suffice amount of information for the rest that posted. Personally with $200 and a 2400 Hifonics I would buy a sheet of MDF to make your own box (unless you have one already) and something from Fi audio (probably could only get a SSD or IB3 and thats not even calculating shipping or extra goodies). that being said your gonna go a little over your budget. Although I think SSA might have something in the 100-200 range as well, I don't know off the top of my head. I will probably get criticized for this post but just figured I would try and help since nobody else would. Cheers mate.

    Nah, nobody is gonna criticize you. It's just that when someone is like "this is what I have, this is how I want it to sound" and they hardly give any info then how much help can you really give them? I've seen tons of these so I make fun of it now, but it is what it is. He has to help us help him.
