Best 4 channel amp to go with

Damnit I should have thought about that before I designed my system. I went for space and looks, not thinking that it may damage the amp in some way. Its going to be hard to find another place for the amp, and just as hard to put something in its present place Here are pics of my setup: I drive an Astro, here is a pic of one of the rear doors before the setup Measuring it up.... This is what it finally looks like (thats a DE-1000 in the pic but I changed around my system and have now put the 3460 tube amp in there) The only thing I thought would go wrong would be the amp getting too hot because of the heatsink location, and so I added fans. This is with the doors open.... Here is the problem, when I close my rear door the amp goes right up against the box There is nowhere else to put the amp, I have a 2000X on an amp rack on top of the box, and the only place I am able to put the tube amp IS the rear doors, I have no space anywhere else in the vehicle. I was thinking a tech could make the guts stronger by mounting them with more durable material maybe....WOuld that work or any other suggestions??

The sound is unreal, the problem im having is due to all the bass hitting the amplifier, causing the componants to come loose. Should I maybe have a tech or someone stablize the componants inside the amp more with some type of adhesive or something? Or would I be better off going with the 4300X or the AX 4300 for the build? If I go for the AX 4360 would that make a difference?

Hey guys... I have the U.S.Amps 4360 tube amp, and have had nothing but problems with it. The channels keep distorting, and cutting out. This may be because of my custom mount, not just the amp. I have it mounted next to 2 Memphis LVS 15's and mounted sideways I would like to try something else, maybe the 4300X. What would you recommend I try? If I went for something like the IS line would that be moving WAY down? or would something like the 4300X suit me better? I have never had another amp other than the 4360, so the tube is ll I have heard. Flakko can you contact me in some way for prices? thanks~!

    us amps website

Man when I think of U.S.Amps, I picture crew of people with nice rides chillin listenin to beats against a California background with a sunset against some nice palm trees. Thats what I would vote the background should be, then some easy navigation through the site with great detail of each amplifier. Im just not all about the 'flashy' chit ya know? Like these are amplifiers for gay people or something. You click the 'AX' line and ya got 'Simply the best' in rainbow colors and flashy letters, the 'King of amps' flashin around, and the amps flashing.... the only thing its missing is a disco ball (even though the space background almost looks like one). The last time I checked people who buy U.S.Amps are not the 'flashy' kind... ya know? We aint those people purchasing 'Audibahn' because they put more money into the looks of the amp than the actual quality. I also think this forum should also be linked up to the website as I never knew it existed until recently.

    us amps website

Hahaha my thoughts exactly. What a Fu#*ing joke that site has been, now they add some dumb blonde who does not even know what an amp is on it? Are they trying to win an award for the gayest car audio site in the world? If so then I can understand what they are doing but commooon!! They used to have a cool website. Non flashy, easy to get around, and explanations from serious audio techs about what the amps were all about. This is just embaressing if you ask me, I seriously did not think it could get any worse until I witnessed this added disgrace. Makers of the website ---> :gayfight2:

Help me out with this amplifier feature

which us.amp would have what im looking 4?
  10. Hey guys I need a little help.... I used to be able to flick a switch on some amps I have had from playing just lows (bass) then flick the switch and there would be highs comming out of the sub. SInce I have used D class mono amplifiers, I have not seen this feature anymore. I was told to look for a class A/B amplifier, but I purchased the usa-1000 and it did not have the feature, yet it was a class A/B. Wat is it I should be looking for? I need 1000 watts rms @ 2 ohms minimum.
  11. Any world record for SPL? Any records of standings? Competition records showing those who use us amps and their DB numbers?
  12. Yes me too 'install and let my ears decide' but im talking about when others bash U.S.Amps, It would be nice to have some info on some accomplishments of U.S.Amps in competition to back up our amps.
  13. Ok guys, I have been using U.S.Amps all my life and nothing else has impressed me as much as them. However, whenever I stick up for U.S.Amps by claiming they are better than the new Rockford, JBL, etc. People laugh and start claiming how U.S.Amps are never seen in any world finals of SPL or SQ, or rarley seen. I dont have any info on what U.S.Amps have accomplished throughout the years as far as Sound championships or anything goes, and I cant seem to find anything on the net, so could the people that have the info post here with links or info in order to arm me and other followers of U.S.Amps? Thanks~!
