What are your opinions on the Baltimore riots and the events surrounding the death of Freddie Gray?

No, cops were not shot or did any shooting in the incidents in Baltimore that are in the media

Well since this isn't really important anymore and for what it's worth, my Platform 2's have taken a pretty good beating for almost 4 months now, and are still stiff. I wouldn't hesitate to buy Platform 3's, but I'm not one to buy into anything I read on the internet (including other peoples opinions) ..

Now the Lieutenant that was charged threatened to kill himself ... court documents surfaced that showed he has restraining orders placed against him, and that he has his guns confiscated by the PD because he was having mental issues .. (and they let this guy retain a badge and weapons) ... absolutely asinine .. IMO

Rioting or peacefully protesting JUST to get on T.V. is a complete waste of time ... some people will just do anything for what they think will make them famous. Pathetic ..

Will there be more rioting if any of the 6 people get their charges dropped?

All 6 officers charged with some form of crime ... the driver of the van charged with 2nd degree murder ..

I'm here to play the devil's advocate and correct cnn's blatant disregard for the whole picture, yes blacks account for only half as many deaths by police than whites. But when you take into perspective that whites account for 63 % of the population vs blacks at a lowly 12%. So doing the math 1 in 160869 people were black vs 1 in 495000 were white. Now I've rounded down so these aren't exactly on point but you get the General idea. What does population percentage have to do with incarceration percentage? Cite the wrong stat much? You could also probably type cast the ones who have trouble in that situation by the crime they did too, but don't look at pertinent stats.Either way, the problem at hand is two things that both should be repaired. There is no reason to treat anyone poorly. EVER. I don't care what they did or whatever, just treatment is a right in this country. The other is the idiocy that leads to rioting. Those dipshits should be jailed/fined hard as that is completely unacceptable. I think he is trying to say that the percentage of white people are arrested in higher numbers because there are far more in the country to be arrested, but per say 10,000 people of each race, there are more black people arrested. There is no reason to treat people poorly but again, there are always people who think they are above the law and can get away with things because they wear a badge. I don't know why, but when a serious riot starts, police tend to back off and only arrest a fraction of the people involved, instead of taking the "shoot now, ask questions later" approach that has been storming the media lately.

There is without a doubt, some law enforcement officers who are racist, but not nearly as many as what a lot of these people are thinking. Weeding out the bad policemen is a good idea but law enforcement will never be totally uncorrupt. I still maintain the position that it all starts with the parents. Parents need to punish there kids with a good beating instead of taking away a cell phone or internet, and parents of kids who are bullied need to teach their kids to stand up for themselves so they do not grow up and want to get a badge just to bully people because they were bullied as kids.

That is the very reason I seemed to get a bad welcome on my return to SSA,from my opinion I've only talked to the guy I think twice on this forum, and he does indeed seem "self serving". Seems to look down on people, and doesn't wanna help. The very reason forums of any kind are fading. People come here for advice/help/suggestions, and when people bash them, make fun of them, etc. it completely turns them away.

I don't do the long rides ... but i ride around town and the local towns every weekend .. nothing at all to put 150 miles on in a day just driving through the local towns for a few hours ..

I really like that color! I bought a brand new 2012 Yamaha Raider just about a month ago. The big cc bikes are so much fun to ride. Limitless torque, really stable on the highway! What kind of mileage do you get(if you have figured it yet)? My Raider ges between 42-45 mpg.

All stock 2012 LML Duramax except a custom EFI Live Tune .. dyno was ran at around 900ft elevation, about 68 degrees.. not sure on the humidity or barometric pressure .. no corrections

The factory 1000 Allison does not like this much power . it started a tad bit of slipping on the 2nd run ... will have to tune it down a bit.. not ready to put money into a built transmission for a truck that gets driven 3000 miles a year

Opinions on 1200-1500 watt mono amps ? I've had good luck with Precision Power and Hifonics in the past ..
