Now that the SSD's are 1,000 watts RMS instead of the old 600, would my Rockford Fosgate P500-2 be better for the old SSD? Thanks in advance!

The motors on those are so insane. Lol, awesome system, when you put the towel up it made me wonder if your able to do a hair trick! That'd be pretty sick if you could with only 2 15" subs. Cool build man!

Would you recommend I get the BP option then? Get the BP option for sure, it'll help it take the extra watts and most likely help the life of your subs.

Yeah I'd be careful with the gain knobs as well, when you go to that link for the amp, look at the tab "powercube", it shows that even though the amp is rated @ 500 Watts, it has 690 dynamic watts, so, adjust that gain knob down, lol I love my RF amp though

I'd say go for it! It's fun if you do it yourself or have somebody help you! Each sheet of MDF where I'm from costs about 30 dollars. I just built a 6^3 box with my baffle doubled and used 1.5 sheets, so of course 2 full sheets which is $60. The Titebond wood glue is about $6-$8. The screws, I used drywall screws which were I think $8. Then carpet or spray paint if your cheap like me, even though I like how the spray paint looks. lol but I think you'll definately see a huge gain in output from your sub! Go for it!

Yeah, I was at a stop light and the cop that got me was at the light as well, but 3 lanes over. It was at one of the bigger more congested lights in the city too. So meh, I just hope the ticket + court cost isn't >$200. lol

I got a ticket in Missouri for a "Peace Disturbance - Car Stereo from 50+ feet" I've only had the sub for 2 days so i'm pissed but I guess it was my fault, but anyways.. I was wondering how much these tickets usually end up costing? Thanks, and sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

Lame, the cop was a dick at first, but I explained to him I had just got it and was "testing it out" and he ended up wanting to see it and when I showed him he said "damn thats bad ass" lol, but, any chance this would also make my insurance go up? Weird, all I received was the yellow carbon copy. I don't think I'm that lucky though, I've had to go to court once before for running through barricades L0L on my way to school, the judge dropped that ticket. I just had a Fi SSD 18" shipped and I think it said the shipping weight was 29 lbs? I may be off. So give or take a couple pounds, and the 12's should be a little less than 29 obviously but the SSD is a beast for sure! Good pick.

You sure do If its in a JeepLiberty It'll sound nice and loud. the btl 18 only needs a 5 cubic foot box i think, maybe 6. Thats after woofer displacement and port though

Wow, is all I have to say. I have a stock Fi SSD, came in the mail today and Wow. I'm glad I got it and I am super satisfied as well I had a RockfordFosgate P3 hooked up before, and when I put this in, my jaw dropped, and its off the same amp. lol

i got both bp power and flatwind. i'm pushing about 900 right now, just ordered a new aq1200d and once that comes in i'm sure i'll run it around 1000-1100 daily. doesn't seem to be straining whatsoever at 900, this thing is solid. Sounds past creepy , why dont you just add the build days time with how long it usually takes an average package to ship and get you an estimate. Well I'm not sure since on the SSD's it says 10 business days for the first 2 weeks of the new SSD, and idk if its within the first 2 weeks I'm gonna guess 3 days for shipping, but UPS doesn't even have it yet :3

Andrew how many business days total did it take for your sub to arrive from when you ordered until when you got your product? And it may sound creepy, but where do you live? lol

where do you live at in Missouri? im in kansas city Wayyyy south of there, like ~3 hours. I'm like 5 miles south of Springfield.
