My buddy Shawnk has made good progress with my doors I think I'll be using SI new 6.5 midbass, they are more capable in my install compared to Fi.

Nikon kit lenses lol. I have nothing special as far as equipment goes. Yes, I've had a 7100 for a few years now. I recommend it. Shot in manual mode and learn how to alter your pictures based on aperture, iso and shutter speed. <--- the "big 3"

I haven't had the DSLR out too much in 2016. Hopefully 2017 will give me more time for that!

Im so jelly over your maestro, I wish it was available for my car! Nice wood working skills

Holy cats, cant believe you got 4 runs of 1/0 through the firewall!

Couple pics of the alternator and S3400 install. I am using Knu Koncepts compression fittings as much as possible. These products are expensive but they work really well. I also started to fiberglass my enclosure. I am very happy with it so far.

I have not had them playing yet. I had them since December. I want to install my alternator and battery, make steel bracing for the enclosure first. Maybe after that I'll make to mounting rings for the mids.

All drivers were tested on an open test baffle. The testing was performed in my home, isolated from other noise sources as best as possible. Testing was near field with RTA and objective. Tests were performed fullrange and crossed with a minDSP. I also had tweeters mounted to test with/without tweeters. Power was 50wrms which was more than needed.

I tested 12 3" drivers. The Aura were one of my least favorite. Faital Pro along with Audison were two of my top favorites. When you have 12 3" drivers to test back to back you are easily able to detect each drivers shortcomings once a standard is established.

I'd ditch those Aurasound 3", they are poop. Try the FaiailPro 3FE22, they are very good. You can use these guys without tweeters if needed. http://www.parts-express.com/faitalpro-3fe22-3-neodymium-professional-full-range-woofer-4-ohm--294-1100

Let me guess 10,000 watt amp that operates on 4 AA batteries -
I decided to remove the carpet on the trunk. The type of carpet that I used was very difficult to clean. I also ran 4 runs of 1/0 wire to the trunk. You can see the wire on the left side of the picture. I carpeted the external section of the port. I was not able to take a good picture of it. From a previous build log and currently installed, the h/u and H800 controller....

Not my pic, but here is the complete exhaust

Not audio related, I install a new cat back exhaust on my car. I bought a exhaust that would not be annoying. It is slightly louder than stock under full throttle and has a deep tone, not your typical Honda fart can sound. On the highway while cruising it is silent, only during acceleration do you hear it. Full SS, tig welded. Stock JUN BL

I was thankful that I went during the "January thaw" and it was 5 above 0.

Where is the ignore thread option? Yet, like watching a train wreck, here I am checking in...

Can a mod alter this thread so it doesn't show up in recent topics?

I am in N Dakota visiting a customer. I hear somebody pounding that sound and I look out the window. At first I thought "oh snap it is Big Jon in ND!". Then I see a female jump out of the car!

I learned a long time ago through many failures that patience gets what I want. For me a rushed job is a shitty job

The market is saturated with amplifiers at rock bottom $/watt. I am anxious to read what will make your line of amplifiers different from the current offerings.
