I mounted my IB baffle. I am very pleased with how it looks. I am not finished with all the wiring. I need to make RCA cables and route the wiring neatly. I am using a Twisted Sounds TS2.8KW to power the subs. The pre-order price on this amp was under $600 and it is a 3.5kw board The amp is mounted upside down on the bottom side of the false floor. This piece of MDF will be covered in carpet and the amp bottom will be a piece of lexan. Should look pretty cool when it's all done.

I put 65 miles on them so far. I went from a 215/55R17 to a 225/40R19. With the smaller sidewall height and my stiffer than stock aftermarket suspension I was expecting a somewhat harsh ride. I am very surprised that the ride quality is not jarring at all. The sidewalls on these tires are not as stiff as I expected. I think Nitto describes these tires well as a "comfortable tire". I am pleased that the steering response is improved and I have a higher cornering speed. Reading over reviews on these tires some people rate it low accuse it "isnt as stiff" as their previous performance tire. Well....duh...the tire isnt designed to be an all out road grabber. It is designed for someone who needs a good all weather daily commuter tire and that likes to hit up twisties on the way to work. My buddy just put larger 19" Honda OEM wheels on his Accord. Same model year, but these wheels were on a more expensive model than his car. He regrets the decision now because braking and acceleration was compromised. I have not noticed degraded braking or acceleration with my swap! Although I could replace my front 1 piston calipers with OEM 2 piston calipers...hmmm I would like to add a front strut bar and replace the stock rear sway bar with a larger swaybar. Then Ill be done with suspension mods I know a guy that put Toyota Rav-4 wheels on his new Corolla. Looked good! They may fit your Camry. I have 5x114.3. Here are the RAV4 wheels

Not audio related but I am super stoked about this mod! I mounted 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe rims on my Sonata. To me, they look stock!

Thanks for the information. Thanks for your interest. It will be a while until I have time to look into this but remotely turning on/off the amps will be a great diagnostic tool. Hopefully one of these days I'll remember to call NVX during business hours.

There are many excellent 6.5" midbass dirvers that would work well in car audio. My favorite as of now is the GR Research M130X. This is what i currently use. It costs $39/ea. I have ~400wrms on tap to each driver. They get loud and stay clean. Pro audio drivers are midrange drivers not midbass. Pro audio uses large cone subs for midbass. No need to use a ported midbass driver in a car, unless you really enjoy very challenging fabrication. Even then the cons outweigh the pros.

Everything else is working great. My grounds should be efficient.

Before I start implementing another component into the chain I should find out why I have this issue. The H800 has been used for years by many people. Why I am having this issue? Looks like time for a 5 why to get to the root cause.

I am using a minidsp for L-R rear fill. I disconnected the remote out to it and plugged in the NVX. The 3 seconds of delay was not enough. Any other advice for creating a delay?

There are a bunch of methods that could be used to raise the sound stage. T/A and level setting is a must. If the output level of your door speakers is louder than your a-pillar mounted tweeters you'll never get a high stage. Level match all your speakers in your front stage then T/A. Also cut 2khz a tad, that will help with depth too. Remember if you cut one band you should have a smooth transition to the adjoining bands.

I took some time today to investigate the amp turn on/off noise. Here is the path for my remote turn on : H/U --> H800 --> NVX 800.4's ..... this path uses the remote out from the H800 to the amps If I bypass the H800 I have no turn on/off noise : H/U --> NVX 800.4's Do I need some type of delay between the H800 and amps? As far as I know the H800 does not have an adjustable remote delay.

It is present on both amps. I am hoping it is fixable. I have been very busy the past 6 weeks and haven't had a minute to address it.

Hi Aaron I like these amps, a lot. My system is configured to run active. One amp is driving mids and tweets and the other is bridged to my two mid bass speakers. These amps have a ton of power for my front stage. I was at a car audio meet and greet last weekend. Everyone that listened to my vehicle loved how dynamic it sounded. My front stage is full of energy that you can feel. These amps are small! Build quality and overall cosmetics are superb. I have not contacted NVX regarding their turn on/off click. This turn on/off click is not desirable. If this can be eliminated I would rate these amp 10/10.

Hate to stir the pot... I have two NVX JAD800.4, they both have turn-on and off noise. UGH.... I have not contacted NVX yet but I'm thinking that there will not be much that can be done.
