  1. I have them on-axis without tweeters, there is no need to have a tweeter with these drivers if mounted on-axis or close to it, on top of the dash/a-pillar.
  2. I have been using the Markaudio Alpair-7-Grey Cone 4" Full Range for over a year now. They are hands down very transparent and extremely capable. Over the years I used and tested +20 full range drivers and these sound the best to my ears. Currently, they are mounted in pods on my dash corners. When the music starts playing they simply disappear. The only driver on your list that is the most comparable is the Tang Band w4-1337sd. Unfortunately, the Tang Band w4-1337sd are HUGE!! Top end "sparkle" is much more present with the Markaudio Alpair-7-Grey Cone 4" Full Range. Other than the Markaudio Alpair-7-Grey Cone 4" Full Range I wold recommend the FaitalPRO 3FE22. The 3FE22 are probably the most underrated midrange IMO. Very neutral sounding like the Markaudio Alpair-7-Grey Cone 4" Full Range and Tang Band w4-1337sd. I recommend the Markaudio Alpair-7-Grey Cone 4" Full Range, runner up the FaitalPRO 3FE22.

    Evil 15" D2 - never powered

I am selling my Evil 15" d2. I've decided to build a drag racing car, all my money will be going into that instead of finishing my audio build. I had the sub mounted but it it was never powered. $500 shipped, no trades and I am not lowering the price. 20180127_124334 by edouble.photo, on Flickr 20180127_124445 by edouble.photo, on Flickr 20180127_124451 by edouble.photo, on Flickr 20180127_124352 by edouble.photo, on Flickr

    Evil 15" Review

I recently purchased a SSA Evil 15 D2. This is my third SSA subwoofer. I previously owned a XCON and ZCON. I originally purchased an Incriminator Audio DP15. After ordering I noticed that the new IA shredder basket was only offered on the 12" sub . It took two business days for anybody at SSA to answer my calls, emails, messages and chats. I was asking to change my order to a SSA Evil. After I was able to contact someone at SSA it was no problem with changing my order. I was happy to receive my Evil within a week. Although, it would have been great to of been informed of a new revision being released the following week . After extensive comparing and modelling different subwoofers I feel that the SSA Evil is a leader in the market. I have not come across another brand subwoofer manufacturer that sells a sub at this price that has the frequency response, power handling and quality that the Evil has. I am also stoked to be using my first 4" coil subwoofer. I do not have the sub installed yet. Unfortunately, I hit a deer with my car that caused $6700 in damage. I should have my car back the middle of November. I will have this sub installed shortly after getting my car back. I built a 4.25^3ft enclosure tuned to 32hz. I will initially be powering it with a Rockford Fosgate Power T1500-1. Within the next few months I will be powering it with a different amplifier. Here is a sneak peak of the enclosure I built.

  14. Well then, Dr. Lindsey will be a hit on youtube!
  15. The best part of the video was all the kisses at the end, too cute. Is that always her mo?
  16. Specs indicate that it should be comparable to the Evil.
  17. Looks like a beast. I was expecting the next wattage sub up from the Evil to be a neo sub
  18. Thanks for the review. Are these now your reference subs for sound quality?
