    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

So my convertible dropped a cylinder a couple weeks ago. It felt like a coil pack, so I pulled plugs on the driver side to get an idea. All the plugs were good, but one was a little too clean so obviously it had some spark issues. Today I went to install new plugs and coils. Driver's side goes cake. I get over to cylinder one and I notice the plug is loose and there is a piece of metal down in the well. I tried for two hours to get the piece out to no avail. It was wedged under the seat of the plug, was sticking up just enough that I couldn't seat the socket on it. SO, I ground down one side of the socket, got the plug out and no sooner did I remove the plug and the piece fell down into the cylinder. I've tried all manners of vacuuming the thing without success. I'm kinda stuck right now. I REALLY don't want to pull the engine just for a motherfucking piece of debris. This is so my luck with this car. Every simple task on this has turned into a nightmare.

5 lug swap parts for the T-bird. The car was a total mess, but it had all new suspension parts. What would have cost me over a grand, only cost me $300 and 5 hours pulling it off.

Also, I haven't shopped here in a while, but 1000 bulbs used to be a very good online store for lighting.

Amazon is loaded with them. They're also available at any home center, hardware store, etc. Like Sean stated, you can just wire in a plug also. There are small whips available for this purpose. Again, you can find them on the net or home center.

There are many places that sell fixtures that plug in to a standard receptacle.

We've been locked down for a week or two, but they announced they will not be enforcing it with law enforcement.

My RLS Experience - long & summarized

Hey man, I see you posting in these threads that are over 10 years old. Most of the guys who made these posts are no longer around. Your best bet to get in contact with them is a private message. They will get an email notification of the message versus replying to a thread which they probably won't get any notification about. Just some food for thought. I think you may even be able to email them directly through the forum as well.

    RCA cables

It sounds like you have a short in either one of the cables, or one of the RCA jacks. Try running a different set of RCA cables temporarily to see if that helps.

We got letters today from AM General that we are "essential critical infrastructure" for the DIB and must remain open and are exempt from any closings, restrictions, or martial law. LOL!

    Chop"s 86' Cutlass

You crazy bassheads! I would be scared out of my mind to drive that thing. One good hit and all that stuff is shrapnel! You truly have balls of steel!

Sure would love to build an engine though. It's been a LONG time.

I've been toying with the idea of converting the Bird to a V8. I'd love to stick with the turbo 2.3, but it is not economical for the power level I want. I have a Mustang at the old man's that is rotten and can use that for a swap. I was shopping for a bottom and top end and I came across Blueprint engines, and they now offer crate engines. They have a 400HP/TQ 347 longblock for $4700! It would cost me that in parts and machine work and I'd still have to assemble everything and not get a warranty. I think I am going to get started on this once/if the Covid stuff settles down and I'm still around.

I don't care for the C8. I saw a couple in person today at the local dealer, and they just don't appeal to me. It looks like a 458 with Down Syndrome.

You know, I would agree, but I need something not worth a damn. I need to get a garage built first and that's not likely to happen any time soon.

Interesting. It's the one "religion" I don't see as a religion, but rather a way of life.

Would you consider Buddhism a religion?
