Changing the port will effectively alter the tuning frequency and the enclosure volume. the 12.5x3 will do fine for the MAG. -

Hifonics is cheaper and well-proven. I almost went with Memphis myself, but have heard too many bad things. It's just heresay though, so who actually knows. I have had the Hifonics though and have not a bad thing to say about it.
