Sounds like a good name. And EMAIL me!

True. I understand. What program are you using? I'd like to be able to run a bunch of these simulations without inconveniencing you. BassBox Pro 6.0 It's not an inconvenience. I like playing with it.

Tired JL Audio and want mag's,good choice or not?

My buddy has the 13W6v2s and he and I both prefer my Magnum over the JLs. -
Are the magnums compareable to the re SX
Tirefryr replied to caraudionoob's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
There are really too many variables to say. You can easily make one sub louder than the other, and it can go either way. There's no definate "yes" or "no" answer. The Magnum can get LOUD and sound GREAT, but I haven't had any experience with the SXs. However, I have played with a number of XXXs and SEs and they are pretty much in the same boat IMO. You can make them loud and sound good. Still prefer my MAG. -
That's not nice!!! Where are the pics?

Now the graphs are merely to be looked upon as an estimate. Nothing is foolproof; it is a computer program after all. Also, I would like to note that this particular measurement for cabin gain I have added to graphs is fromMY OWN vehicle. Yours will differ from what I have posted.

I have all the black ones I need. Just looking to add to the collection.

12"MAG in 2.0@29, no fill, 600 watts, cabin gain added. 15"MAG in 2.5, heavy fill, 600 watts, cabin gain added.

Wanna sell that 404?
-
15" D2 sealed, please. What size enclosure(s)?
-
I'd just try and fix the vent some how. YOu should be fine with the power.
-
u don't think this will be good? No No.... I happen to like small sealed enclosures, hence the MMMM. OR really BIG ones!!!!!!!! IB is the way for me.
-
Where are you located at? I'm sure there's someone in your area that may be able to help you out. When dealing with fiberglass, I find it easiest to just build the enclosure first. Then figure out the volume and if you want/have the room to go vented you can always add that. You could always do an external port without taking up any precious volume in the enclosure itself. And for that little thing, I think the 12 would suit you nicely.

MMMM........ Small sealed enclosure...... I need help.

Now that right there is an interesting situation. After changing the design in my buddy's Camaro, I now only have 3.3 cubes which of course I was going to seal, but perhaps this puppy can handle the small vented enclosure hmm??? Dammit, back to the drawing board.
-
Geez, pick one already and pound away.
-
What????????? Where's the grammar ninja when you need him???? Holy run-on sentence Batman!!!! Seriously though...... Did you use glue on the port? It could be a vibration if not. Or you could be unloading the driver if you are feeding a lot of power under tuning. What amp are you running? And does it do it at any volume?
-
I wouldn't put the Tempests in anything less than 4 cubes. Just my opinion though. Loved every one I had. Wish I never sold them. So I vote SEs. Unless that is you are going sealed.

You know my pick.
