You can get a ton of cheap amps for $250 or less. Just do some shopping. Ebay is a great place!

Is this one of the old Cardiac woofers? I remember seeing them in the CA&E directory in high school and was in awe at first sight of one years later.

Standing waves in SQ and SPL installations

I don't see how you can possibly have 4 walls parallel to each other.... Can you explain? Only thing I can come up with would be a multi-chambered enclosure with multiple drivers and dividers for each. -
YOu plan on competing?

HEll yeah!!

Maybe, maybe not. LOUD is a general term. You cannot really say one thing will be louder than another. There are so many factors that will determine the "loudness." You'll be pleased with whatever choice you make.

its even more disturbing that someone with an IQ of 176 couldnt spell the word "still" correctly Guess you missed the sarcasm in that.

I have actually heard that with the enclosure not being coupled to the body itself, you are losing a bit of efficiency. Is it audible, unlikely. Like I said, just something I heard.

You can mount the driver to a baffle board and hang it from the rear deck, which is what I am doing, or place it directly behind the rear seat, so something similar. The idea is to completely isolate the front and rear waves of the driver from each other. This entails totally sealing the everything from the front of the driver on back.

The box will be rather large once you add the port displacement. Try it sealed first. If it's not enough for ya, port it.

AH, my sole is a rest now. My new baby! Now if anyone has a BLACK A404 or 400X and an A1200, let me know! Question is, use this for sub or midbass duty?
