Input on 6 6.5s subs to use

Do not use anything skar. That being said, why would you want to use the 6.5s? Just for looks? The 12s will kill them in cone area and efficiency. I don't see a point unless you prefer them just for aesthetics.

I'm going to sell the components and use the rest in my truck. Hell, the damn component sets sell for more than what I paid for all of it.

I just scored $2K worth of RF gear brand new in the plastic for a STOOPID price!
  7. Think of the tone as a static load. It doesn't change. It's not that cut and dry, but a generalization. That 39Hz note in a song could be measured but it's amplitude won't be the same, all other factors being equal because the dynamic load present on the amplifier before and after that note from the dynamics of the music. Think of it this way; your faucet on your sink breaks and the water is flowing at a constant rate (i.e. the tone), and your other faucet breaks but this one has the water pulsating while sometimes reaching the same constant rate as the other faucet , and sometimes not. A rollercoaster is another good example. Say we have 12 hills all the same height, length, and profile. The forces exerted will be the same throughout the ride. We build a different coaster with one hill the same size as the first coaster, but all others vary in difference to this one and the forces will differ for the duration of the ride. This is rudimentary, but it gives a fundamental understanding, or a picture if you will.

Sounds like bar tending/ownership is right up your alley. Ticks all those boxes.
  9. Music iz dynamic and driver characteristics change in milliseconds. If you think that's bad, calculate your acoustic watts. You'll really shit then.

I HATE driving! Left yesterday for Lyons NY. Got through Ohio and PA trouble free. As soon as we hit NY, total shitstorm of traffic. Lasted 2 hours on I90. Got done today and we were supposed to go to Niagara Falls tomorrow when the boss changes his mind. He wants to drive to fucking Cleveland and then on t o two other jobs tomorrow since they're, "on the way home." WTF?!
  11. Unplug the RCAs and let us know what happens. It would be beneficial if you listed all your equipment as well.

    Nissan 2019 Frontier Replacement Screen

I know Alpine has some units that support car play wirelessly, but very few. It's as simple as choosing a head unit that does. If the shop can't figure that out, they're morons. You can literally pick up the phone or simply go online and find out which units have this feature. I don't see any difficulty here.

So, I started tearing the T-bird apart a few months ago to restore it. Two weeks ago, I had to replace some exhaust parts on the Mustang, and upon removing some stuff, I broke the bolts at the manifold. YAY!. Went to jack it up, and found a broken ball joint on the PS, and the DS was worn to the point of breaking. Ironically, neither of them showed any signs of wear whilst driving. So I have the Mustang up on jack stands with the entire front end torn out. Ordered a new clutch since I figured why not since I'm this far into it. Fast forward to today and I'm coming home from picking Gavin up and my truck starts to make this atrocious noise. I knew immediately what it was. So we limp home, I get under the truck, and sure as shit, the carrier bearing for the driveshaft it shot. I get online to check on prices, and they're $5-$15 through Rock Auto, so I am not too upset. I start doing some more price checking, and I find out that my particular truck has a non-serviceable driveshaft which includes the shaft itself, the the U-joints, and the bearing. So now, I stuck with spending $800 on an entire new shaft, which thankfully replaces the non-serviceable parts with serviceable parts, but WTF? I have NO luck with used vehicles.
  19. I'm going to bet it a power steering issue causing strain on the pump which causes excessive parasitic drag. This could cause belt slippage, or tensioner issues which means the alt struggles while turning. Come out of the turn, no more excessive load, all good.

They are ALL super-hard. I was just discussing this with our PPG rep. These things cure in hours and there are no more solvents to evaporate. It's strictly endothermic and boom, they're done.

Why do you want to build bandpass when you can accomplish the same thing with a simple vented enclosure?

Odd to me that you think that. I don't think any of them look alike. I can distinguish any of them without issue.

    Advice needed

Depends on the application and the amplifier settings. What are your enclosure specs? Use your ear when setting and you should be good.
