My experience they are some tough bastards. They are strong amps and are finicky when it comes to ohm load. But I ran mine at or above rated ohm load. Plays for hours in 110 weather without ac. Never had thermal shutdown and the amp temp measured at heat sink never got above 128 degrees! I would run them again in a heartbeat

Well I run run straight iPad but I still like to gave a volume knob sometimes and I like to tinker with the settings while listening. I have a cheap pioneer chilling in my shop. I may run it until I have problems with it.
Man that ignition switch stopped the whole project until I fixed it lol. Couldn't even roll the windows up. It was a birch but got it done

What's a decent head unit that can withstand 160db? My 80 prs wouldn't turn up or down and the screen would go black at 158ish. I'm thinking it's not a good route for this truck lol

Well it's strange because I just went to sbn with the amps and had no problems, then I unhook, give them too him and bam protect?? Strange man. Real strange. I'm checking tommorow to see if the warranty is still good.

Ok! Strep throat sucks. Still waiting on design from bhe...
in the mean time psi will start building my subs soon 
and got my rims back from the powder coat shop! 
Don't worry lol the other 2 rims and tires are waiting to be installed. Just didn't feel like jacking up the rear and installing with a heat index of 106 lol.
