  1. i agree with alton except im not a fan of the alpine type r component set (granted i havent heard the newest one but i doubt its all that much better). personally id look at other option like possibly doing a set of these in the front doors http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_15773_Boston-Acoustics-PRO50SE-Pro50-SE.html

without any speakers in the back (dont really need em)

or maybe do the pioneer d series comps up front and the coax in the back or even look into cadence line of speakers to save some more money, cadence offers some pretty decent stuff at great prices

  2. I drive an Olds Bravada (basically a blazer) and I drive it daily, but its a weekend warrior for spl. I have an AA Havoc 15, I'm building the box to the SSA Icon enclosure specs, and running it off a MB Quart Discus 1500. Which would sound better/get louder, facing the sub and port up, or sub and port back? If I face the sub up I can actually use some of my cargo area.. but that isn't a big necessity. It is a four door if that matters.

different cars like different things, if its a round body i believe it does best with sup up port to the driver side for metering on the passenger side and vice versa for metering on the drivers side

  3. Alright in about a month i plan on buying new subs, I’m looking to spend around 600$. I was originally wanting to get two 12" SSD's, but now that the SP4 line is out idk. i can get one 12” SP4 for about the same price as two SSD, my question to yall is which is a better buy? What will i be more pleased with? Which one hits harder? Which one sounds better?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

fi doesnt make a 12" sp4 for starters. after that i cant tell you what youll be most pleased with and as for how "hard it hits" or "how good it will sound" i cant tell you that either because the build will be the determining factor.
