  1. mannnnnnnnn... i've had a feeling it was this focking alt. since I got it installed.. already spent like 100 bucks getting it tested and what not... The a-hole who re-built it for me said he wouldnt even pay for me to get it un-installed JUST TO CHECK if its bad.... I think im gonna just bring it to one of those 200,000mile shops.. AKA Merlin... pretty sure they do free tests... as far as taking it out of the car.... ehhhh we'll see what happens with the first test...first. IF......its the ALT... will it progressively get worse?? NICE CHANGES TO THE WEBSITE BTW... MUCH easier to look at.

    putting up the projector today

can get an optoma 1080P projector WITH SCREEN from Costco for about $1000!! I gotta say though... after owning an HD projector....there's nothing else like it... We have an HD 50" Sony in my house also....there's just no comparison... So many advantages of the projector, and it looks incredible in a blacked out room... skydiving videos, skiing in mountain made for HD videos, certain aspects of movies, split screen....just don't get the same effects on a regular TV

    RL-s... not popular???

alrighty... did a little more research...saw the RL-p was only rated at 500-1000RMS.... anybody know if most people give it more than that?? cause that kinda turned me off. Lookin like im going to go with that 18" Q w/BP option.
  17. does AA even make the avalanche anymore? sry to bump an older thread

    RL-s... not popular???

It's not the loud part that's infeasible, it's the "sounding better" part. I got ya...I bet it will sound better... Aight, ive decided im going 18"... Now its Q w/BP 18" Avalanche (if I can find one...if anyone knows, please let me know) or the RL-p

    RL-s... not popular???

Don't think that's going to happen, regardless of the woofer chosen. what you don't think any of my current options will get as loud?? Keep in mind I made a new box for 1 15" and it got just as loud as the 2 (cause I had limited space)
  24. snb778

    RL-s... not popular???

ok, so now im really considering the FI Q 18" w bp option.... How would that stack up against the RL-p... little more output, little less SQ?? and yea that 18" avalanch is a good one to throw in the mix.... please comment
  25. snb778

    RL-s... not popular???

id rather do the 18 then... I just wanna be able to match the output (NOT on the mic) that my 2 15's had, along with having the better SQ, or punchiness/tightness.... I don't care about loud at the mic here, just so im clear on that, but id like to keep some window flexin goin on... im not lookin for like an Arc flatline, or IDmax... thats a little TOO SQ for my preference... keep in mind im comin from 2 15" R's ported w/ MM3000.1.. so I want to keep the volume, only sound better doing it, and maybe a little bit more.. BUT, dont let the 2 15's fool ya, cause I just made a box for 1 (the one that is kinda messed up) and if it wasnt a messed up sub, it would get just as loud. sry for bein so fussy.. I just don't want to go to 2 smaller drivers, and then its not as loud, cause I wont have enough money to upgrade again... I can only afford 1 system/year...or I should say, can only afford to swap subs once a year
