Not much of an update really, I recently moved house and I decided to move the Rolla over there, and began the strip down of the current wall so I can measure up and rebuild again Seeing I recently got a new Phone said I would test out the picture quality and also give a run through of my equipment Rolla getting emptied: Some pics of the speakers I used last year and I will be using again: 105 KG of batteries 35KG a piece for those who dont believe lol: Spot the difference in size lol: The all Star line up for 2012: Missing a sub as I am too lazy to take out all 25KG of vertically mounted madness new sub amps have been decided on: B2 Audio M1S 5,000watt Amps (2) Gonna be a small while before I can afford those, all going well I will be hitting the big meet louder than last year I have 2 more days off work so expect some more updates on the car itself

  7. SPL Dynamics do 0.5 ohm stable amps. Interesting read all the same, it wouls pose the question as to why manufacturers would bother to make there amps half ohm stable

    6th order bandpass

Hi guys, I'm in the process of thinking out my rebuild in my car. Here's the origiinal build thread: So I will be using the same subs, 2 18" Mayhems, I will be adding 2 210 amp alts, and Amp upgrade to give me 6Kw+ I want it to be loud and low, play the 25-40hz bracket sweetly, I dont really care outside that cos I dont ever play up above the 40hz range. all help appreciated guys Joe

    Pics of Systems Past

One of my very first systems, 2 Kicker CVR 12's off a kicker 400 Watt mono block, 6" comps, 6X9's, and front door comps all ran off a pioneer head unit Then upgraded my car, decided on an audio upgrade, Kicker 600watt amp, and a Kicker L5 12" Then I joined Audio forums and discovered what Audio is about lol. 2 Rockford Fosgate Punch 12's, Starsound 1.3 Kw amp, extra battery and 0 gauge wiring box was 5 cubic feet tuned onto 27hz A small video of them playin: Had a little run around for a while, got me a Kicker 15" L5 for cheap so made 1 3cuft box tuned to 32 and stuck the starsound amp onto it, no pics but here's a small vid: Then I changed car again, and got addicted to bass, so this time arouond same 5cuft box, 2 Vibe Space 12's, Hifonics 2607D, MTX roadthunder componants, Alpine 9886r HU, car deadened with Dynamat. And here's a small flex video of those subs: Then I finally took the plunge and walled the car. Completely deadened, 30mm of MDF on the roof with plenty of foam, sunroof sealed shut, 2 AA Mayhem 18's, 2 Hifonics 2607D's, Epic 160, SPL D 4 Channel amp, 2 sets of AA 7" carbon mids, 2 sets of 1" AA tweeters. This equate to 149.9 @ 32. I am currently rebuilding the box, and changing amps for something a little beefier Of course for batteries I have nothing less than 3 XS Power D3100's Also an Alpine PXE H-650 for telling the front end exactly what to do Here's a video of my wall

Haven't updated on here in quite a while So car is now long rebuilt and hitting 149.9 @30hz, so now its time to rip it all out and build it up AGAIN, gonna have twin 210 amp alts, and also gonna get me some Sundown SAZ 3500D's And finally trim the car up to make it presentable. Will be starting the strip down in Jan, so will keep you guys updated with pics. Was thikning of doing a no wall box, but I think I will stay with a wall, I have a nice bit of space to play with so any ideas I'm more than open to them
