The other car you mentioned in the last few emails would be a nice setup for sealed enclosure though. A bit more room in there...the sub would thank you lol

    Slamology 2013 Homeowners Association Compaint

You do realize that your points have washed over the content of this conversation correct? Do you know what they (the owners) heard or were subjected to? Do you know what they (the owners) hear during regular events? Do you feel that using a video to make fun of a HOA is a good idea? Do think that letting a company, that has suggested that they are "here to help our industry", simply make things worse by backing out as a child is a good idea?

    Slamology 2013 Homeowners Association Compaint

A home owners association that is ran properly can and will get events blocked from coming back. Most of the time it is never that big of a deal, but if the call again next year...guess what show will be looking for a new place to call home. I'm not saying that is the best way to handle the situation, but I understand where they are coming from and they did take the proper action instead of just escalating the situation to a point where the show is virtually shut down on the spot. I hate to say it, but don't take it lightly when you get any kind of call from a HOA. As for the video itself. I got a laugh out of it sure..but it was distasteful as well and coming from a company that is attempting to help our industry I was rather shocked at that.

    15" Xcon unboxing

Yea, that happens a lot more then you think it does with shows like that. Glad you had a good time over all though. Was that score sealed and on the dash or with a door or window open?

Mainly just looking to see the voltage at the sub amp in your case.

    15" Xcon unboxing

He just means that you should pick up a $20 volt meter to mount on the dash and run the wires back to the amp. This way you can keep a really close eye on what is going on with the voltage at the amplifier.

    The wait is over! (sorta)

On the inside you can use a spade connector or solder to it. On the outside both of those are good options. Personally I like banna plug because it looks much cleaner. As for the driver, you can use just about any screw setup you like. If you dont plan on pulling the sub out alot then it wont make a huge difference in how it is mounted in most cases.

    Apology and good news!!

We were surprised by the opening of a new location rather suddenly. It is larger and much nicer. After some negotiations with the owner we made the move.... TODAY!!! Yes we moved our entire shop in less then 12 hours. Of course that is thanks to many people who were kind enough to devote their day to helping us relocate. However, since I had a fairly good idea that we were moving we have been slowly packing and moving some of our services around to ensure we are ready to go for tomorrow. So we have been fairly busy with both online and local clients as well as making this move happen the best we could. I have been out of the office running around making all the necessary changes for us. Unfortunately, some of the changes took place a bit early and our phone system was moved a full day early. So we have not had phone or internet service at the shop for a few days. We are now back up and running. So if you sent an email or left us a voice mail, expect some replies and returned calls through out the day tomorrow.

We get a high volume of emails, when we reply to emails indeed some times we do not get all questions answered. I do apologize for this, but I am human so errors are entirely possible. Net volume is ~4.8 Tuning ~32

    Y'all Alright, Okies?

Indeed my thoughts. This last set of storms that produced tornadoes went right across my house and less then a block from my shop. And to top it off, we were caught in traffic during the 4 hours of storms and 7 tornadoes that were springing up around us... At least I can say the month of May was not boring I guess.
  19. This is a charity event for Toys for Tots. As well as helping with that cause, the proceeds will be going out to help with the relief efforts of all the current tornadoes in Oklahoma. So come out and show your support if you can. Hope to see everything there. http://www.thebigshowok.com/default.html

Just for clarification for those who are not clients, but are curious to the on going situation here. After we had the set back with a rather traumatic family event our area was ravaged with tornadoes causing much of our area to be shut down. While we were lucky with minimal damage to our building a few of our employees (and/or their families) did loose their houses. We were shut down all last week with very limited office time. Our staff was donating our time and efforts to the search/rescue and clean up efforts. Several of our staff are still out of the office helping with that cause. We do apologize for the delays (or extended delays) that this situation has caused. We are working diligently to get 100% caught up and after Wednesday we should be just that. A few long hour days to get there, but that is just what it takes to make things happen some times. To all our clients that were affected by this delay, we are truly sorry for this. However, we feel that our time was just better spent helping with a far greater cause then something as trivial as mobile electronics (in comparison).

We are back in the office right now, but our phone system is currently on the fritz. If you can send us an email we can get back to you about any orders and/or requests that need to be addressed. I can say that any enclosures that are pending (regardless of when they were ordered) will be shipped with in the next few days.

    Grille for an Icon?

You can use the "mesh" type of covers, you just have to build a spacer of sorts to allow clearance for the driver. Not my favorite look or even grill, but they will work just fine.

    Y'all Alright, Okies?

Thanks...been a long day/night and there are still many more missing at this time... I have to be honest...the drive home just makes me feel worse. So many are with out homes and here we are driving to our house for the night...just does not seem right.......

    Y'all Alright, Okies?

We shut down around noon to get everyone home. After it had past through many of us (including myself and my wife) went out to help with search and rescue for several hours. While I am glad we found and helped many, some of the things we saw will simply never go away. The horrific nature of this event and the children lost is..... well words can just not explain how I fell right now. I am grateful that we are "ok"...but that is only physically...mentally that is a whole different story.
