i'm sellin my hifonics 1500d.i was thinkin of maybe getting a hifonics 1800d or hifonics 2200d.my friend jason recomended a jbl 1201.1. i just need somthing that won't draw a chitload of power. thanks guys!! charles

yea my friend jason fixed it for me. he called re and explained to them what happened.the sub was powered by a hifonics 1500d. so hopefully all is good now!! charles

i just got back from offshore yesterday and i play my sub real low on the way to town then i start turning the sub up. well about 30sec into it it starts popping so i turn the sub off until i get to my house. i take the sub out and the fudgeing spider is completely unglued from the basket. my friend jason at genesis car audio is glueing it back for me tonight. he is an authorized dealer for re. just wanted to vent this cuz i was very pissed!!! charles

naaa i didn't pay $500 for it.i ended up getting it for $354shipped from ikesound. i didn't call alex because it was near 6 before i got to jasons and almost 9 when i left! i'm gonna shoot for another trip up to baton rouge before i go back to work this monday. i'm working out of pascagoula mississippi right now. 3hr trip from my house in kentwood,La.we work at a spar 85miles offshore out of pascagoula. 3-1/2 hr trip on a 165ft crewboat doin 25knots. i'm out there for 14days and home for 7. anyways i got everything hooked up now and it sounds awesome. charles

hey guys!! i haven't been posting much cuz i have been working so much(OFFSHORE). last friday 12th my re xxx 12" came in. i'm getting the box carpeted and installing today as i built the box before i left to go offshore. well today tuesday 16th,my premier 860mp cd player comes in. so i have to install it today when i get back from shopping. i will be sure to get some pics up. charles

i have a 96 eclipse. i was running 4 12's but am now runnin 1 xxx 12". 34-35wide--16-16.5deep--14tall with hatch cover in place and you rear fire or up to 20"deep if you fire up. my box for 4 12's was like this..25widex25deepx15tall facing up. let me know what you are looking to do and i can help you... trikeffex@aol.com charles

hey guys. i'm fixing to fiberglass over my back speaker adapters in my eclipse.whats the best/cheapest material to use for fiberglassing.its gonna have a 3/4"template holding the 6-1/2" in place just need to fiberglass over it to cover up the unused space. i was just gonna get some fiberglass resin from autozone and some material from wal-mart. any tips on it would be appreciated. charles

well why don't you suggest somthing for me around that price range.i wanted to put my dd 9515 in the car,but i'm not even gonna go there.i like the way the dd sounds in 6cu.ft and it ain't gonna happen.thats why i thought of 10's or 12's.and i only listed kicker and fosgate cuz i was thinking of subs that don't cost alot.so what would you suggest? anything for $300 or under shipped. charles

ok heres the deal guys. i have 4.43cu.ft if i fire towards the rear,and 5.23cu,ft if i fire up. i have a concept cc-d2400a for power.the car is a 1996 mitsubishi eclipse hatchback.i am selling ma dd9515 this weekend and am in the market for new subs for my car. i've found a couple of subs that i like but i wanted to get you guys opinions 1st. (1)-2 punch hx2 12's (2)-2 punch hx2 15's (3)-2 kicker comp vr 12's (4)-2 kicker comp vr 15's (5)-2 kicker L7 10's (6)-2 kicker L7 12's and theres a bunch more that i didn't feel like listing. what would you guys pick from my list?this is just a tossup for now,just to kind of give me a guess of what i want. thanks guys. charles

hey jamie. its hard for me too reply alot hence i don't have a computer in baton rouge. i'm now a proud member of team genesis"GENESIS CAR AUDIO". we are building my box at the shop this week.so hopefully i get everything in for this saturday so i can represent for resonant engineering and digital designs. not sure which sub i'm gonna use for this weekend.either an RE MT 15" or my DD 9515. been getting some good numbers on our meter. if i get it all in and its reading good on our meter,then i will be there. cuz its kinda far for me to drive. will i have anyone in my class?? i'll be doin super mod 1-2 subz! call me pucker!!! charles
