    What are these pole options?!

Love it. You guys are awsome. So do my SSD's have the plain slug on the left?

    Plexi or Lexan

Plexi won't scratch as easlily as the Lexan will Its harder. Lexan is more flexible , which helps with its bullet resistance.

    What Box for SSD 12"

I have used 2 different ported boxes and 1 sealed. I personally hated the sealed. if you like some boom, i would go with FI's recomended specs. I listen to rock with lots of double bass and i can't stand muddy. So a slightly undersized and tuned higher box is what I am using now.

    fi ssd power handling

SSD will do it, I have about 1100 on each of mine. I personally wish I moved up to the Q series.
  5. I have a module - they work great, My module is doing 14.9V-15.1V . For specifics as far as the "will it damage my car" I think that is coverd on missing links site missing link audio Chris is the guy to talk to. I haven't heard much from him lately. I think my module had been in for about a year now. I also have the charging optioned module to charge slow charge the battery from the wall. Really smart guys.

    2 12" Fi SSD's

you can do 15's. Just barely but they fit. You should have 15.5" available in box height. I have an '89 thunderbird and have been though about 6 boxes. If you angle the front of the box that will give you more height to the baffle to mount the speakers. Either way. I have (2) 12ssd's, I have run them sealed ( 1.6 cu ft each) hated it. Ran the ported at 2.25 cu. ft. each tuned to 33hz and it was pretty darn lund but a little too muddy for the rock i listen to with a lot of double bass drum. I now have another ported box with 1.75 cu. ft. per woofer ported through the rear deck tuned to about 39 hz and it pounds the rock. it has a ton of impact. It doesn't play a tone as well as the large ported box. I have removed my trunk carpet so i have been able to (outside dimensions) 39" side to side and 15.5" tall. The front to back depends on how much box you need. For a wedge shaped box I have found that 25 degrees matches the slope of the rear seat OR if you make the top dimension 6.5" shorter than the bottom diimesion it will be darn close. i am not a pro at boxes but i can certainly help you with the bird specifics, i have had mine for about 12 years. here is the old ported box new smaller ported box unfinshed

    ported vs sealed

sqjeep, from my earlier post , i use to have a ported box and it was a little sloppy IMO. It played rap and tones awesome. I rebuilt it and went to a 1.3 per speaker sealed box and lost a ton of output. I knew it would but it's not really what I expected. It's really tight and sounds nice but it has little output IMO for having a rated 1000W on each woofers. I am having to beat the amps up to get the output i was hoping for. I listen to rock music with double bass drum so I had a shop model my old ported box for me, my current sealed box , and a smaller, higher tuned ported box. It COULD be my answer but i won't know until I try it. I don't listen to rap and rarely play tones. this new box is 1.75 per woofer tuned to 39 hz.

Wall socket'd my 12ssd thats going for recone

I have only the copper coil upgrade and i thought i was good to about 900w to 1200w if im careful. Playing rock, I will probably be fine, if I bass raced probably not.

Wall socket'd my 12ssd thats going for recone

i like mine. I have only put 500w on mine so far, i am building for 1000w now the reviews on 1000w read well but i haven't tried it myself. 4 of them on 4000w should be awesome. I went with the 12 instead of the 15 because becuase i thought it might be "faster" for my rock music

    Hairline crack?

oh - man they were fast. I think after they finally got it I had it in my hands in 3 days. Even with the UPS blackhole it was in for a day or so I think it was 5 days total. BUT... mine was JUST a recone. Only soft parts. I bet your is a different deal than I had and I am only 6 hours away from them.

    ported vs sealed

We listen to similar it souund like. Pantera, Atreyu, 5 finger death Punch. The ported just didn't do it for me. I would do a 311 really well but not fast, tight, bass drum. They newer metallica was junk in it.

    Hairline crack?

I didn't know until I tracked it. I did catch their normal delivery guy while he was on vacation but I don't think FI is in some special place that someone with half a brain couldn't find.
