I believe it was .5ft^3 tuned to 47hz. I used industrial plastic wrap tubes for ports The sealed was .5ft^3 too if im not mistaken isn't 47 a lil high? and why are you guys wining about 9 o-clock classes? I have a 9:30 and 10:00 and couldn't be happier. the 8 o-clocks are no fun though

I'm looking for a new vehicle. Something like an suv or truck. I've been looking at Jeep Cherokee, Dodge Durango,and the Land Rover Discovery, Early 2000 models. I'm really leaning toward to Land rover as they are almost all leather with sunroofs. I was just wondering how good these cars are as far as Stock Quietness, Window seals, ability to add speakers (my next system will be a 3 way active so fitting that in there will be key.) Also if anyone knows any similar vehicles they have liked gimme a shout and I'll take a look.

Also had the weirdest thing happen..... This is the Fred Hartman bridge ( I think its one of the biggest in america) if I got any closer than this shot every picture I took would freeze up my phone then the picture would come out looking like scrambled blackness and it ONLY happenned when I was under the bridge my phone is taking pictures fine again. I also tried to save the messed up pictures but my phone would freeze again then go back to the camera mode

I really want two of the 12's to port but denim said the 10's seem to spec more for porting. What do you think? If I drop to 10's I think I may run a single 12 instead of 2 10's. 2 10's would still have more output over a single 12 handling the same power eh?

Does anyone know about the sound systems in an FJ? A friend of mine has one and I know you could easily fit a 10 in that big ass door panel if there isn't one already there. and then some sound comes from the headliner????

After too much planning my friend has decided to drop money for the system in his maxima and here is what we came up with... Headunit: Pioneer Premier 6900 Amp: Kicker 650.4 Speakers: Pioneer Premier TS-C720PRS Subwoofers: 2x 12" SD-1 Miscellanous: Knu 4 Gauge Amp Kit KOL-AK44 Deadning: 1 Roll Raamat BXT and 5 yards of ensolite Mostly I will be stuffing the deading and ensolite into the doors and trunk to help the midbass and trunk rattle as much as possible. The 2 12's will be in a ported box tuned nice and low (sub 30's). I'm thinking a foward fire with ports running up into the cab through the existing 6x9 holes, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated Anyways just wanted to see what you guys thought of the setup. I would say the overall goal is a clear system with some bass at your back. Now I just need to keep the eyes open and possibly find some of this used for a good price.

I have quoted 2 subs before and you really don't save on shipping, Its still twice the weight and double the size. But for me atleast the prices have actually gone down for a single woofer. I payed 84 for a 10 shipped to my house not to long ago and now it comes out to about 79.

I'm looking for a 3 way active (8's, 3-4" mids, Silk tweet) and probably a single 12 600RMS or 2 12's 1000-1500RMS. Looking to get quality with some volume (isn't everyone though lol). That really saddens me on the LR my friend just got one and its been good but its only been 2 months)
