    Help with wiring...

I am trying to plan out my build so that I can place things and make my wiring but I have a few questions about a few things. I have a 1/0 run of power from my front going back to 2 extra batteries. I will be upgrading my big 3 4g with all 1/0 wires. In the back of my trailblazer will be the extra batteries. Now, I will just run the main power wire to the first battery then run a short wire to the + on the second battery, correct? And as far as the ground.. I'm sure it would be best to ground both batteries off to the frame... Should I run a short wire between the 2 -'s on both the extra batteries as well? And I'm also assuming that along with the fuse after the battery up front, there should be a fuse between the two battery +'s and one between the second battery and the amp? My Fi BTL 15 will be here this week and I have a hifonics 2000w XX-HERCULES for now but plan to upgrade to a 3000w amp and add a 400w amp for the mids and highs and I don't like doing things more than once. A new alternator will be first though... Does it sound like I have the wiring right or am I missing something or have something I shouldn't? Thanks for any help in advance!!!!!!!

Incriminator Audio I Series now on the SSA Store!

I know its an old thread, but are these prices (right now like $95) for the components for just one speaker, tweeter and crossover or is the price for the pair?? Thanks in advance! Two crossovers, two midwoofers, and two tweeters.

Which FI sub(s) should I get?

Thanks for all the replies guys! I ordered my sub last night. Went with the BTL N215 dual 2 ohm...

Which FI sub(s) should I get?

I've never had anything bigger than a 12 lol. I'm kinda leaning toward a BTL N2 15 or 18... I think one of those should be close to as loud as 2 of the SSD 15's shouldnt it? Would I lose a lot of sound quality between the 15 and 18?

Which FI sub(s) should I get?

So then I have quite a bit of room to work with.. Maybe I should go with 1 BTL N2 15? Or 2 SSd 15's? Which would be better?

Which FI sub(s) should I get?

I could probably mount the amp on the back of the box. Have the sub(s) firing up and port toward the rear of the suv. How much room would I need between the face of the port and the hatch door? I'll run out and take some measurements and let you know what I have to work with....

Which FI sub(s) should I get?

I would like to keep the top of the enclosure close to the top of the rear seat height and I still need room for my amp and it's not very small by any means....

Which FI sub(s) should I get?

I'm not set on anything yet... Open to suggestions to get me what I'm looking for in sound.

Which FI sub(s) should I get?

Thanks for the welcome! Would 1 18 still sound good for daily use? Would it still have decent sound quality?

Which FI sub(s) should I get?

I think I can fit around a 4 cuft box in the trailblazer... What would the main differences be between running 2 15" SSD's as opposed to running the 12's?

Which FI sub(s) should I get?

Alright guys... Im stuck on giving FI audio a shot and seeing what I come up with... I have a 2007 Trailblazer SS with; big 3 4ga upgrade, Alpine DVD hu, 1/0ga power and ground wires, extra battery for power storage, and a 2000w @ 1ohm XX-HERCULES hifonics amp.. From what I've read the amp should be a little underrated. I want a really good sounding set up with the ability to get super loud. Do you guys think I should do 2 12" SSD's running around a 1000w rms a piece or should I step up to 1 sub and push 2000w rms to it? Basically, given the info, what would you guys choose? I'll be using this pretty much daily with the occassional sound competition. Ported enclosure preferred and I would like to spend AROUND $500.. Thanks for the help in advance!!
