    Digital Designs C4a

Hi, haven't been on here in awhile i have a Digital Designs C4a 4 channel amp for sale that I had for two weeks (bought it new as old stock), I decided to go with Incriminator Audio amps instead of Digital Designs. It is rated for 100 x4 at 4 ohms and has built in cross overs that can allow you to use them for an Active cross over set up for your mids and high. I paid over $350 for it. I'm asking 275 obo. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

    Sundown sax100.4D

Hi, i am selling my Sundown Audio sax100.4D I have decided to get something to get something smaller so i can put my amp in my bucket seat in my truck. possibly looking at getting a sax125.4. anyway the amp has upgraded rca inputs to be able to use higher end rca cables that have a tighter bite to them(monster cable for example) without taking the grounding shield off when you take of the rca's and that was done by db-r. the amp is 100% functional and maybe 8 out of 10 for looks. just mostly minor scratches. i would like to get at least $250 for it. Paypal is preferred. and thank you for looking And sorry if breaking rules about posting the pictures. i forgot how to. http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o574/Birdmanfo3/ec8d640f.jpg http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o574/Birdmanfo3/54759fff.jpg

    Kenwood xr 4s

pdx's cant do active. i think i may do 2 jl 300/2v2 i want to do 2 sax125.2 but the highpass only goes up to 3k hz
  8. hi, i had to change my plans and have to go with a more budget friendly set up around 300 for the front stage amp . ok right now i have a sundown sax100.4D that i love. but the problem is it is too long i need 3 inches of it to be cut off for it to be true love. so i am i going to have to sell it. and i was looking at small class d amps. and i saw the kenwood xr 4s. for roughly 300 it is rated for 120 rms at 4 ohms and can do active. and on diyma it seems to have gotten good reviews and i do like the fact that it has a fan.. but i never have ran kenwood before . and the only other options i can see for me is getting 2 2 channels amps and stacking them since i want atleast 100 rms at 4 ohms and active. and i am asking for opinions on the kenwood or any other amps that could work. thank you

    bridging and t/a question.

thanks i will look into the ER18
  10. hi, i am thinking about getting a jl audio xd600/6 and going 2 way active using my 9887 for the processing. and i plan on using channels 1 and 2 for the tweeters. and 3 and 4 bridged for 1 midbass and channels 5 and 6 for the other midbass. now i am wondering by doing that. will i lose some features such as time alignment? or should it be ok as long as i have the rca's matched up right, thank you. and also i plan on doing the 2 way active this way with that amp because it is going in a truck so space is limited and this is only option that i can think of that can give me the power i want and still keep me within budget. thank you.

    bridging and t/a question.

the vehicle is a 2002 frontier. and i am looking at getting 6.5" mid bass.also i have been leaning towards sea prestige P18RNX for the midbass and SEAS Prestige 27TAFNC/G for the tweeter

    bridging and t/a question.

around 350 is my budget . i figure that since the xd600/6 is $ 500 authorized i should be able to get a non authorized one for around $350 when they pop up on the net. and i am looking for around 125rms @ at 4 ohms.but my main problem is the size of the amp. like right now i have a sax100.4D that wont fit in the jump seat area of my truck so right now i have it on the floor in the extended cab part k. so i need something that is no longer then 15 inches long or the terminals are not on the ends. but i am liking the flexibility that the xd6006 would have for future uses.

    which is better for me

hi, currently right now i am 5' 8" 190 pounds with a b/f % of 30% so i am overweight i have been going to the gym for roughly 3 months day and have gone from 220 pounds down to 190. my diet consent of 1 chicken breast, with rice and a fruit for lunch ( i wake up around 11), then like 2 hours later i will have somemore fruit then dinner usally some kind of chicken, veggies and a salad, then for snack another fruit. then a couple of hours later i fall alseep. now i just got fired from my job and i already put in application every where that is hiring so until i get a call back i will like to focus more on getting in shape. right now my routine at the gym is this: monday-All Body workout with 45 minutes of cardio before i start the other stuff. tuesday. 2 hours of nothing but carido, Wednesday- all body workout with 45 minutes of carido before other stuff, thursday- 2 hours of cardio Then friday all body workout with 45 minutes of carido. now though i am looking mostly at just getting fit right now like i think the guys at the gym that think it is cool to be able to bench 250 pounds but still have a beer belly look retared. and i am wondering if i turned the all body work outs into more isolation type work out and upped the carido somemore would be better then what i am currently doing.

    IA 6.4 - 4 Channel Amp!

so any thing new with this? im looking for a replacement for my sax100.4D. and i need something small.
  17. it's the headunit. it is over equalizing the signal./ but unless i have it flat then it wont act up. oh wells time to readjust the gains on my sax100.4 for my mp3 player until x mas.
  18. hi, i am positive that it is my head-unit causing this (it is a alpine 9887) but i am trying to see what else it could be. ok for starters i have my gains set on the my sax100.4 At volume 27 is the max (out of 35 i think) and sometimes when i have the volume at only 15 the drivers mid range will get very notice able louder and i will use the balance and the left speaker is barely playing and the left is acting like it is receiving double the signal. now i have the sax 100.4 running active and i am only using the high on the 9887 to feed the sax100.4 channels 1 &2 and then using the output to feed 3 &4. So if it was the amp couldn't one side play fine and the other wouldn't, since they are sharing the same signal? and just letting you know the reason i am using the sax100.4 x covers instead of the 9887 is because the rear preamp has a grounding issue that causes alt whine. so i am curious what else could cause that and also sometimes the sound will drop out of no where. but after a min or two it will return. Thanks
  19. yea i am basicaly do that but with out the y splitters. i am using the output on the amp to feed channels 3 4. and i am not using the 9887 for anything but equalizing and readinf music. i got the low pass and the subsonic doing bandpass for the mid range and the high pass for tweeters. and i am happy with it like that and i read somewhere that pioneer overrates there preout volts. is that true? and i am looking at a 9886 or the pioneer equivalent.
  20. hi, a week ago i decided try to make my Polk MM6501 active. all was going well until i went for a drive around the block and i noticed alternator whine. i am using my alpine 9887 for the processing and my sax100.4 for the amp. and then i have Monster 402 series RCA connecting the two. Now i am having trouble finding out the Cause. i re grounded the head unit to a better spot. I tightened my ground for the amp as tight as i could. i replaced the RCA's with some 8 dollar ones from walmart. and i still have it. and it is only my rear/Highs that have the whine. and i don't really want to have to add a filter because i heard that it affects the quality of the signal. i haven't tried to get rid of the pop noise since the alt whine is more annoying. and i am pretty much out of ideas. Thank you
  21. What happened when u did this??? I had a similar problem jus to find out the the speaker wire was being destroyed by the set screw in the terminal. So i went and bought flat straight pins and the sound dissappered. it stopped making the noise i left the remote turn on connected to the amp and hu so it can turn on with that and it didnt make any noise. and i took the amp off of where i had it mounted so i can diagnose it easier ( it's in the jump seat aera) once i put it back up i will have pics of it. and i did clean up all my grounds and everything. and all my freinds have stock radios so i cant just swap them out. plus i wont be paying for the h u it will be for xmas. and i got all the noises to stop. no turn off pop and no alt whine with the way i have it wired. so my rear output is shot. Keep the amp where you had it when you did the mp3 and rehook up the hu and see if the noise stops. tired it already no difference. oncei connect the hu it gets bad turn of pop and bad alt whine. and i even tried using coupler with the mp3 playe to c if it is the rca's and i get no noise so it has to be the hu. basically it has to be the hu becouse once it gets introduced back into it i get the noises . but after just bypassing the rear/high rca (the bad ones) i do notice i have a faint turning off pop noise but not as bad as it was before and no alt whine at all. i am curious though. what if i used the speaker outlets and use a loc to have active thru the hu instead of the sax100.4?

  23. i tired what is in the picture but i did mine better and it only made it less. the vehicle is an 2002 frontier if that helps. and i know it is my head unit because my old set up in my old car had the same problem with the rear/highs. and i transferred that head unit to my truck and only ran the front rca's. so it makes since that it is my cd player. as a temp fix i'm thinking of feeding the front rca's to the sax100.4 and then using the output on the sax100.4 to channel 3 and 4 so i can still go active. and i am only doing this becuase my truck needs a new knock sensor. and i am quoted 800 bucks to get that done for the truck so money is tight. and i would just go passive again with the x-covers that came with the set but i like active much more.
  24. iit's my head unit. just now i just remembered i had a smiler problem with my old car. that i used the 9887 in to. But i thought it was the amp(pdx4100) so i bought a sax100.2 and just use the front RCa's to run all 4 speakers at 2 ohm. So who repairs head units? or is there any way i can rig it to work. like i saw what some people do to pioneers grounding problem on there headunit.. would something like that work?
  25. i dont have enough extra wire to try that. check your speaker wires, rcas for cuts or damages in them were they could be grouding out. I redid my factory grounds and upgraded them to 1/0awg wire(sanded where Saturn didnt), I also covered all wires (positive and negative) in engine bay and ones for amps and my whinig went away after having it for close to three years. i think its my amp. it is only doing it in one channel , after dinner i am going to hook up my mp3 directly to the amp and if it whines that will confrim that its the amp.
