i apologize for not updating. I did finish the front stage install, and it sounds RIDICULOUS. Stage height and width is like nothing ive heard before, midbass is punchy and STRONG. I didnt really need to touch the EQ either. A little boost for the horns at 16khz and thats about it. However, while performance wise they turned out 110%, they didnt turn out how i wanted them to asthetically. Im going to be re-doing the kicks over summer as now i have a much better idea of what i need to do.

Just starting an install journal here. Ive made most of the progress so far only having the trunk left to do after finishing up the install of the kicks/horns. Feel free to ask any questions. See sig. for other components in install. thats all fer now folks

i would get the SE's. Great sounding woofers, with the ability to really get loud if needed. I havent used any DD woofers to comment, but their reputation has been for more of the SPL side of things.

sweet man. I would just use screws to attach it to the door. 1 screw alone was enough for my kick panels to stay put on the sides.

is there going to be any diffference in performance with the new mag?

lol man i have them hooked up to a cadence q4000 amp which puts out about 60 watts at 2 ohms, so at 8 ohms theyr probly getting 15 watts or so, and damn i cant even turn the gain up at all these things SCREAM. they sound so nice and detailed though and i barely needed to touch the EQ, only a little bit in the 2-4k range then bump em up at 16k cuz of the sharp rolloff up there.

holy crap....the Magnums are gona be even CHEAPER? that is crazy, they definetly deserve to be priced HIGHER than they used to be.
