    Selling or Trading my FI BTL N2 Fully Load 15's. They are D1 coils, still very stiff. One sub is in great condition, the other is the same except the basket was cracked during shipping but has been fixed with a JB weld. Selling because i really need the money, will also trade for some other 15s that are less power. Other trades are welcome to as long as it doesnt require cash on my end..     Hey guys, just bought this amp off a kid. Thing is minty minty, barely any sctaches on feet from screws, Comes with Box from crescendo with model number sticker thing, the amp obv, bass knob and wire, and allen wrenches, even the manual!  I Need to sell this ASAP!     Your young, and prone to terrible ideas. Don't wall it--especially a c-pillar.

    Max dimensions would be helpful otherwise any advice doesn't mean much.

    Since your on a budget I would spend the money towards the cone area, and not bother with "3-4k." The difference in output likely won't be worth the investment. Especially after you factor in all the electrical upgrade costs.

    Provided you have adequate room I would opt for 2 18s in the cargo area, or 2 15s.

    If I sound harsh it's because I was in a similar position not that long ago, and I've made many vehicle alterations that I highly regret.

    Def not harsh, very informational actually. and max would be 40 wide. somewhere around 25 deep and 20 high....

    whats subs do you reccomend then?

    So im in the process of a new build. Ive had a Skar VVX15 and DC Lvl4 18. Def loved the DC more. ( just sold that ) but its so expensive for me to get multiples. For this new build i want to do either 15s or 18s for sake of its cheaper to get louder (meaning price of 1 18s is cheaper than 2 12s of equivalent specs)

    So my question is what kinda ideas you guys got! At least doing 2 subs. maybe 4 if i can afford. Not sure on Power ( currently have a SAZ1500v1 but wanna upgrade to 3-4k)

    I have a 99 jeep grand cherokee...willing to cpillar wall......GO!

    Which is COMPLETELY unrelated from my post. Again stop misapplying responses to other questions to your situation. Not what you should be concerned with atm.

    tech it is realated cuz i cant test the "other things to play with" i need to try things such as different boxes and tunings and such because thatll give me a noticable difference. small things like box placement and puttings seats a certain way and slight song differences i cant hear the .1-.5 db change. . . . im sorry if im misreading responses but thats how i am perceiving them

    3 because the directions of torres says so lol. the top bottom and sides. 123. for an lport box. 2 would be a center vertical port. like 2 12's and i the middle it uses the top and bottom. (my bad on the box heigh. i think it is actually 17 total) but the length you told me to do 22.5 one length and 6.75 another. that would have made a 4 port int the back so i made one 20.5 and the other 8.75. when it shold have been (according to the pic you just posted) 20.5 and then 2" lol but hey. i rushed anyways. so whatever. noones perfect and its no big deal. new box today. 6.5 net cubes. 38hz, we'll see what the difference make lol

    So like i said, tuning is only like 1hz off lol. not a big deal. the biggest thing which isnt necessarliy your fault. bevcause i didnt really mention i wanted net cubes of 6 ft. but the box is .75 smaller than inteneded. and because im under powering it, tech it should be 6net cubes, and even 6.5 to make it more efficient

    i plugged the info into torres of my current box specs and its 31.15hz and 5.25 cubic feet (net) the error was the port length, vs physical port length, basically its longer than it shouldve but not to worry lol. new box is going to be 6.5 cubes tuned to 35hz

    question for everyone. how do you measure a port in a basic l shaped box?? i think the calc was off and my box s 5.8 net cubes, and 29.8 (30hz) tuning. so by going to like 6.5 net cubes and 35 tuning will that help my score by a db or to?
