No luck online? J

Meanwhile we have them everywhere for sale. J

They are next on my own list. Doc Martens have been my go to for a bit. J

Appreciate it guys. It could be much worse and I am fortunate to be where I am. Just gotta keep hunting and fighting. Too stubborn to give up and take whatever comes my way. At least at this point. J

I'd been fighting to have my position's pay grades upgraded, and applying for new positions/a promotion.....that's tits up for now. As of the moment I am just hunting for a new position. Hopefully something comes soon. Rough finding someone to fight this; quite honestly I believe this is someone being vindictive for a past supervisor. As for patching me up, brain MRI on the 5th of May, and phys therapy consultation coming up around the 24th. I'm also putting in for increased compensation after all this. It's going to be a shit show for a bit. J

If it blows at least the name is fitting......

Unfortunately not in a positive way. As I have now learned I have degenerative disc disease in C5-C6 that seems to have contributed the the migraines. Those migraines caused me to take time off and lead to me getting the boot. J

Damn nice plans Sean!!! J

What a damn day. Looks like the job shift is happening faster than anticipated. J

I can understand that. For me it was trying out the iPhone 4 then using nothing but Mac in photography classes that made the switch easy. J

For anyone not looking to jailbreak them, Apple makes a better product IMO. Video and cross platform use is great. I wouldn't go back to Android at this point. J

On a totally unrelated topic, I've been applying for better positions within the major organization. Not just here in FL, but places like MT, ND, SD, MN, WY, ID, and CO too. I don't know why, but lately the random solitude has been calling out to me more and more. I think I need a vacation. J

That's a fucking rough one man. Normally I would advocate for things to make any other entry point painful as hell; but here prevention is the key solution. Got any out of work buddies with more time than cash that you trust? Pay em a bit of cash to be there at times. Might make a nice deterrent. J

Well shit

Don't most of them interchange with Town Car and Crown Vic parts? J

All I can say is this has been some great food bits here. J

Flat face electric locks with door bar. J

I started looking two weeks ago. I'm applying for other positions within the VA, and looking at outside agencies as well. Had a random phone conversation with someone from Orlando's VA today about my program as it's being shuffled to a new department. She expressed interest in bringing me over to run it. It would be a significant pay raise, but Orlando does nothing for me. J
-
Performance wise will it save you time or effort for the extra $150? Will it make teaching the boys easier? J
-
So I'm coming up on a year with the VA, and I am thinking it's time for a change. The level of ineptitude and piss poor planning is driving me up the wall. J

If it's the best tool for the job, get it. No sense in 3/4 assing it. J

Only 'inspection' we have is when you first get your plates. They just come glance at the VIN, mileage, signals, and listen for the horn. After that, nothing. J

Good points. The reliability of the Tundra, it being paid off, and the variety of use makes keeping it attractive. The seats after an hour, and mediocre interior make it kind of a dud at this point. I have more and more 2+ hour events coming up, and the girl and I am discussing more road trips for this summer. Currently I average about 12-30k a year depending on the concert/event schedule. I just want something for the longer trips that is more comfortable, a touch better on gas, and easier to maneuver in the tight spots I end up with at many events. 2017 with 38,967 miles was the XC60 in question. It's gone now, so meh. J
-
Shocked to see I haven't missed much. As for me; covering more fighting these days, and still plugging away at work. House shopping, and debating on a smaller SUV (Volvo XC60 size) for longer road trips. The Tundra sucks for long drives as the seats just aren't that comfortable. It's paid off, and I get a pretty damn nice discount on service (apt won't allow work in the parking lot) by owning it and being a member of a FB group. Considering this year may require more long distance trips than years past....it just makes sense to have a second car. Now to find it, and get lower auto insurance. J

4 Runner? Built off the Tacoma frame, and handles a lot less like a truck. J
