    Buying Speakers

All i was trying to say is that if you take into consideration air space and power you can get good sound without having to dump a lot of $$$. yes the discussion is about front stage and there are a lot of different factors to take into consideration as in placement, angle ,power and mass more. It has been 20+ years since i have professionally installed systems and a lot of things have changed since then and I am trying to learn as much as i can.

    Buying Speakers

back in my installer days we took a Rf 10 put it a box ran a 100 watts to it , then we took a Radio Shack 10 put it in a box ran the same amp to it and the Radio Shack 10 was clearer and hit harder had better roll off and everything. Yes each box was built to Manufacturers specs So don't be afraid to spend a little less cash its will all be in how you Power and tune your setup. I am Planning on doing a system with the cheapest stuff i can buy Just to prove a name brand IS NOT ALWAYS the best JUst MY.02 .

Yea I love them too !! I have been in to Datsun's now for about 15 years Built the 510(Black car) from the ground up it is been my baby that i beat the hell out of LOLZ. The 411(red one) i couldn't pass up.The plan is to make it a beater show car. It has a full air bag system FBSS and hope to get a sweet sound permeating from it. I have a little car audio knowledge, I worked in a shop for a few years built and help build a few cool systems. But things have changed a little since then. As I was stollin through so pics I found these a system I helped with back in the 90's sorry pics of pics a little over kill but hey why not 1-30" I believe a Morel sub 8- 15" earthquake subs 4- 8" earthquake subs ran as a mid 6- sets of 6.5 earthquake Mids and 1" tweets full hydros and some crazy power I don't recall off the top of my head how many watts it was, but I can tell you It was loud and crystal clear !! We won most of the Local car audio competitions and I believe it still make a few appearances every now and then.

Thanks !! I hope to get a build thread going once i finish the a few things on the 411's air system. I have a few old school RF amps and some SPL 10's . I plan on going for a lower watt clean sounding system, I really don't want to have to run more than 2 batteries with the air bag compressor on one 1 and the stereo on the other. I would really like to score a set of Hertz 6.5 components!! Thanks
