    I flashed a custom rom called timurs rom, its built for in dash installs.  Its nice because once it detects power it turns on the screen and turns gps/wifi/etc on.  And its modified to charge at a higher rate to compensate for running gps and all that at once.  then when powers lost it goes into hibernation mode turning everythign off.  google play will handle most of my music except whats on usb sticks/hard drives.

    I did this to one of my xcons with an ap3k.  dirty power does bad things.

    In no way you can compare my amp to an ap3k

    You should spend more time thinking about my second statement than getting butthurt assuming im comparing your amp to an ap3k.  once again DIRTY POWER DOES BAD THINGS.

    picked up some aurasound full rangers for my friend on recommendation from Aaron and Sean (deyoung) .  At 20 bucks a pop figured they would be worth a try.

    Really a great little midrange. Soft on the top, but some eq and taming can make them play nice. Where are you using them?

     

    Just realized I said for my friend.  No clue why it typed that. 

    They will be goin in my scion xb.  I will be doing a vertical line array  on the apillars.  Will be 4 per pillar.  I dont know if many of you have seen the doors on the xb's but the speakers are so down low and the seats are build in a way that you sit more like a truck seat instead of a car seat thats low.  I was having a problem with my legs blocking the sound on the drivers side and then whenever I had someone sitting in the passenger seat that side would be blocked.

    So I had the idea of raising the sound floor ( think thats the right term).  So aaron and sean suggested these.  I have an 8" sub in each door for the midbass covering 60-250hz, they are in sealed sonotube enclosures in the doors. 

    I know I'm asking alot to have these keep up with 4 18's walled. but anything should be better than the muffled sound i had before.

    Ok tony since you are here. What is the one mode and impedence that would give us the best idea of how the aamp would really perform. Id assume certified at 1 ohm?

    The reason I ask is ive seen various people posting screen shots of x amp doing y amount of watts but then you notice its burst or dynamic or whatever at .5 or .8 or whatever they selected.

    That's just old timers catching up with u.

     

    god i hope not.  its odd its like it keeps uploading the pics over and over so i got like 90 pages of pics on photobucket when it should be like 10
