Yea, my DCONs cover a big range so easy. And, they do get crazy low too. The song I played in the vid is a good song and does cover a good range but it doesn't have the real lows. I put on "Tom de Vos - Penetration (decaf)" today and was blown away at how low they go and how good they sound doing it. I have to say that I am COMPLETELY satisfied with these subs. I will try and get some more vids up soon (with a better camera). Thanks for all the comments and views.

The box turned out great and sounds great too. Thanks very much for your help Alton. I will look into bed liner. I am going to build an amp rack also. I still have a few cosmetic things to do but it is almost done. I am uploading a new vid to Youtube playing a little. The mic on my Galaxy S3 sux but most vids of bass don't have great sound anyways. Haven't had time to play with the position yet. The holidays have been hectic. And, yeah it is pretty loud . I have a friend with one FI btl N2 18 and it seems to be just as loud ...... Hopefully with a little more tweaking I can get it juuuuust right !!!

If I understand ports correctly, then the length also matters. In this case the port will be 36 to 37 inches long. Correct me if I am wrong.

Ok cool. Then I will go with whatever you think is best for my Tahoe. No testing needed right now. I am going to buy all the materials for the box tomorrow. As I said, the subs should be here tomorrow too .....looks like I might have a long night

UPDATE....... Subs are shipped and will be here tomorrow......I guess I need to get busy

The subs I ordered are SVC. The amp that is on them is a new PPI Black Ice 1800.1. The ohm load should be about 1.34. I saw the quick design you sketched and it looks great. I am wondering if subs up/ port back is better than both subs/port back ? Thanks very much for your help

I ordered 3 SSA dcon 12's that should be here soon. I am putting the subs in a t-line box and I am wondering if there is a particular break in for the subs. With all of my other subs, I have just kept the volume low for about a week and then crank it up. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks
