After a few years of collaborative effort, passive crossovers are here for the Evil component system.

Thank you Aaron, Julian, Vladd, Parker and Sean. This was definitely a team effort.

When Aaron approached me with this idea a few years ago I was excited to design a set of passive crossovers that were based on performance first and not price or size. These really do sound great, I am proud of the design and the rest of the team knocked out a great PC board and enclosure. I don't think you can find anything better at this price point.

Also, as SSA is a staunch supporter of DIY, standby for more resources to build these yourselves...

I truly appreciate all the work you put into this project. :)

I don't see how you can't tell anything from the extensive YouTube video coverage of the SA 8. I shut down Times Square NYC when driving through with 1 SA 8 in the trunk of my 5 Series BMW and Morel Virtus 402s in the doors. All you could hear was my car out there. I was running a cheap Kenwood then with a match pp82dsp. Upgraded to a JL Audio RD500/1 for the sub.  I like SQ with a little bit of boom. At lower levels you should get great SQ, but if I was going that route I would get a 10 inch Morel in a sealed box. JL subs are fine, but you still get a little buzzing from the rubber. Morel has extremely tight , articulate bass.

    Woah, Times Square!

Thanks bro! definitely the most meticulous I have ever been when doing a build.

I tried to be as accurate and careful as I possibly could.

I'm not super happy with the box honestly, due to shitty tools and not truly squared cuts on the wood. and my port is a little janky on the edges.

But none the less it still slams.

I just will have to satisfy my inner perfectionist and rebuild it down the road when I have a table saw and proper squaring equipment that not harbor freight specials lmao... XD

Will you keep the same specs on the rebuild?

After talking to XS Power about lithium batteries, my whole wiring will be changing as well as electrical. Both Odyssey AGM Batteries will be sold and replaced with a Titan Lithium Group 48, which will power my whole system along with my HO Alternator. There will be no more batteries in my trunk and when you open it the trunk up, you won't see any more wires just the enclosure. I ordered a longer amp board to hold my new power block and bigger fuse distribution block as well as my Salt-4k amp. I will be doing adding another run of 2/0 wire going from front battery to rear power block. Then three wires coming off the power block, one wire to power up my front stage amp and two wires to power my sub amp. I will sell under hood fuse holder to a friend, move the one from the rear to the front. As I'll be buying a new one with more wire attachments since my electrical is changing and I'm adding more wires.

Here is my power block for the rear area that will mount on amp board.
