  1. Hey guys I currently own two Polk Audio SR 124 DVC subs powered by two C500.1 Polk amplifiers (500 rms amps), in a sealed enclosure. I want to switch because I have had problems with the subs, and although they used to sound great, they're not working properly anymore (tinsel lead failure with 1 and now a weird sound coming from the other). I heard my friends SSD and so now here I am. Will my two c500.1 amps (benchmark tested at ~555 rms each) be enough to power this beast properly? ~1100 watts rms? And if so, do I need the cooling option? I know I want the Internal heat ring option. Will the sub work fine with two separate amps powering it instead of just one? Anything else I should know about tuning the amps http://www.polkaudio.com/products/c500_1 properly for the Q? Thank you guys in advance.
