Lookin to pick up a new 4 channel to run mid and tweet in an active 3way. Anybody heard these ssa A/B demon amps? There is no info anywhere on them! They look awesome, fit the bill power wise and cheap as hell! Are they worth trying?

i did buy this amp and its wired to an xcon 12 sealed at 2 ohm! great amp!

Looking at buying one of these,but cant find any user reviews anywhere. Does anyone run hertz amps? This thing supposedly makes 2k at 2 ohm! Seems pretty badass!

You can easily run an ho alt! The ecu will regulate the voltage down but the amperage of the alt will allow you to maintain your voltage. Also most companys will build you an externally regulated alt but you will show a charge lite on your dash. This way you can hold 14.5 if you dont care about a light on.

Because im gonna run the comps active soon! I just gotta find either a propper hu or crossover setup.. What i did was tweak the gains and even them all out with a multi meter then re bridged them. Friggen amp and comp setup sounds amazing! Even off the jvc hu im running now. This amp makes 250x2 bridged so i have PLENTY of head room.

Just got the new four channel in! Im confused as to how to set four gains when ill be bridging the amp to run my H.a.t. Clarus's into two channels. The gains are all the way down now so they are all equal. Amp sounds great as is but just a tad lite on gain. The amp btw is a Arc audio ks 125.4 mini.

The manual doesnt say. If i were running the amp in four channel mode, there is a gain for every channel. So now in theory, since its bridged, i have two gains per speaker. Weird! Never seen an amp like this, normally you have a separate front and rear gain pot only.

Whats your batt voltage with the car off?

I had the same issue with my mechman.. Few things.. Make sure your belt is a quality belt and that it is tight enough.. If a smaller than stock pully is on the alt you will need a slightly smaller belt. Also my xs was crapping out at the time i got the mechman so i group 65 diehard platinum and a 1 inch smaller belt solved my problem.. I also took my truck to the dealership and had them turn the idle up from the factory setting of 625 rpm to 700. Now i have literally NO voltage drop at full tilt and every possible electrical component turned on! 14.2 ROCK SOLID! Fyi.. Napa sells rebranded " gates" belts for about 20 bucks

Anyone had any experience with these amps? Im looking for sq amps but it must be able to fit under the seat of my 07 frontier. This amp seems to fit the bill pretty well as far as size and with the class g/h design should be pretty clean sounding. It will be bridged to a pair of HAT CLARUS 6.5 components. Passive for now.

Aririved broken! Came on but made no power and was sending a weird noise through my components. Sent it back and when it arived back in my hands it was still broken!! Same problem.. I returned it for a refund and i got my refund in check form minus 60 in shipping charges!! So basically wasted like 2-3 months of my time and lost 120 bucks in shipping costs!! Started to doubt my wiring till i bought the sundown 1200d and its been blasting the icon at one ohm for like a year and a half now!! Also a friend of mine bought a minotaur and the four channel from zed at the same time and they were both broken!!! Guess the amps couldnt handle the trek from cali to the east coast... Sucks cause i like to support american made shit but i am very pleased with my sundown and will probly buy another bigger one for sub duty..

Yeah for sure man sorry if i came across as a dick! Price and such seem cool well see about performance. Think it should be on my step thursday or friday.. Im psyched! I just wanna feed my hybrid components the healthiest power i can.

So to wrap up this conversation.. The arc is a cool choice or no? I got it from an arc authorized dealer in Minnesota for 400 shipped...

Im completely obsessed with my system in my vehicle just like everyone else on here! Lol all i want is for it to be the best it can be for my budget limitations. I was just lookin for some opinions. Also AARON CLINTON.. No offense to anyone but i actually purchased some zed products in the last few years and had a HORRIBLE experience. Bought a minotaur 2 and ended up with a sundown and am utterly satisfied with the sundown 1200d! Pushes my icon wonderfully!

M5, thanks for your input! I do unfortunately listen to alot of mp3 files strictly for the convenience but if i am looking for something that sounds decent i always pop in a cd.. There is no blind testing needed.. Mp3s, unless ive ripped a cd in lossless format, sound like shit. Your not talking to some jerkoff kid here!! Hahaaa this aint my first rodeo! ive be an audio head since the early 90s. U wanna give some advice? I love to learn! Otherwise save it

Just checked out the focal. Its a class a/b! Honestly i dont give a damn what type of amp it is. I just want an amp that sounds good! Period.. Just saw the arc,read some reviews, thought it looked cool, and wanted some feed back!

So the arc isnt worth a shit, or what?
