    10" Fi BL SPL changes

I posted a thread with pics for them in the classifieds section of this forum.

    10" Fi BL SPL changes

I'd get rid of them for maybe $425 shipped for the pair. They are both great subs, one surround had a small repair done, but you really can't tell and the dustcap on the same one has been re-glued. The 2nd sub is still mint. Both subs were ordered as dual 2's, one sub is really a dual 1.5 and the other is a dual 1.6.

I was afraid of that. It's not worth the money for me to bother. Guess maybe I'll sell them off instead.

    10" Fi BL SPL changes

I bought a pair of the 10" BL's with the SPL option a few years ago, maybe 4. I have no use for them anymore as a burp only sub. Is there a way to change them to a musical and burp sub without having to change motors? I know the gap is pretty tight since it's a burp only sub, just not sure if it's as simple as buying a new recone or if it's more expensive.

    IASCA events??

It's good, we have no SQ competitors in the Northeast so I'm not used to hearing anyone ask about SQ.

  8. At the end of the month we'll be back in Epping NH, that will be the night before the Big Bikini Car Wash Show in Sanford.

    IASCA events??

Have you looked into any MidWest SPL events? They have a ton of them in Missouri and a few in Arkansas. www.MidWestSPL.com
  10. You coming out to the Boomer show in Nashua July 10th?
  11. I always forget about this forum, so I haven't posted any updates this season. There are several TNESPL events happening all over New England this season, a lot in NH. There will be a couple NESPL's in Sanford Maine and Nashua NH. There are so many comps going on in New England this season that there are almost too many. Two sometimes three in one weekend. I'll be hitting Epping NH Saturday night and Auburn NY Sunday morning.
  12. Team NorthEast SPL will be having their 1st triple point event in New England on Sunday May 16th. This event is sponsored by DC SoundLab. New England SPL will be there to run the meter for this event. Rob Woolcot (ThorsHammer) will be the TNESPL Official 3X Judge on hand. Registration begins at 9am and ends at 12:00 am SHARP, judging should be underway by noon. All vehicles WILL BE INSPECTED prior to making any SPL runs, this is a certified event and ALL RULES will be followed. Make sure you are there on time, NO ONE will be allowed to compete in the SPL format until they have been inspected. The event will take place at the Porter & Chester Institute WaterChase Dr Rocky Hill CT 06067 There will be both the TNESPL SPL format and NESPL's SLAMMIN BASS at this show. Entry fee's will be $30 for the SPL and $20 for Slamnmin Bass, $40 for both. Trophies will be handed out for 1st - 3rd in all SPL and Slammin Bass classes. There will also be a trophy Highest DC SoundLab SPL of the Day, meaning the loudest DC set up of the day will win this 4 post trophy. Per TNESPL rules, competitors must have their membership paid within 14 days of this event to keep their points towards Finals. Membership forms will be available at the show and can be paid for at this time, the TNESPL membership fee is $30 for the 2010 season. It is recommended that everyone have their memberships paid for before the event takes place. To check the rules and classes or to buy a membership Check out their main webpage, Team NorthEast SPL.com. This event is part of a large charity car show, they will have several items being raffled off for charity. DC SoundLab is donating a DC 15" Level 4 to the raffle, so bring some $$ for the raffle tickets. The rain date for this event is set for the following Sunday, May 23rd. Hopefully we won't need it, but with several shows last year getting rained out it's a good idea. __________________

    death penalty??

So these would should be pretty close to something like a DC level 4XL? I was looking at the Death Penalty's too, but saw the rated power on the site and wasn't impressed. If these can handle burps of at least 4K then I may have to pick up a pair.

    Best Buy Drops Rockford

Something to keep in mind though, your average kid off the street has no idea what quality car audio products are, hence the reason they go to Best Buy. Best Buy would never spend the money stocking their stores with stuff like Rockford Power series subs, or Kicker CVX's and L7's or Solo X's because most kids won't spend the money on them. Those that are willing to buy them will buy them cheaper online somewhere and install them on their own. The best your going to find from Kicker will be the new low line amps they introduced at CES along with their CVR's.
  15. lol, I have no idea. Most car shows don't get set up til April, some even later. Once the car shows are set up then I can get the details worked out for doing SPL at them. I'm hoping to get some at a few car audio shops, but most shops don't care about comps anymore, so we'll have to wait and see what we can get.
