just dug up a thread where me and him were talking about his skar sub. Unfortunately the confused lad requested all his posts be erased as a birthday gift to him a small while back (will not go into the reason why but you guys might have an idea from the way he conducts himself in here). Anyways, I did in fact quote him so some posts are in fact there existing and confirming that we were talking about his skar subwoofer. Thing is....the 8's and 15's didnt go into production yet...so the question arises now: Did he or did he not have a subwoofer that he just confirmed he did in fact build a box for?

Pioneer, show us the response curve of the sub and box combo that kevin gave you for your vvx 10". iirc you gave me it and I did model it....but lets see what you have first then i'll post what I have cuz initially I thought I made a mistake somewhere.

Disconnect the rear batt and leave it to stand alone for a few hours, see what the resting voltage is. Sounds like a damaged cell to me.

Most cars I tinkered in have like 16 - 18 gauge wires so chances are you arent going to get any 12V amp that can get enough current to make 100watts through those wires. Your best bet may be to look for a small 2 channel amplifier and run it in bridged mode. A 50 * 2 or something and get some 8 gauge power and ground cable. I doubt your parents are going to notice 8 gauge.
